Yeah same. I buy a new car for new technologies, improvements, etc.

Also, leaf springs were dumped on the Z06 and ZR1. Only the base model has leaf springs.

Oh yeah? They finally put some coil springs under the ass end of that thing? It's about time!

I will grudgingly admit that the ZR1 and Z06 are badass cars. Great value, but it's too bad that the fit & finish is so lacking compared to cars that they can be compared to in terms of performance.

Agreed, but you get what you pay for unfortunately.

from what i know the zr1 isnt anywhere near the z06 in terms of corvette-ness. Clarkson voted it top for gods sake, and he couldnt do that with the z06. the suspension/tranny/engine is totally redone, and while it is still a *bargain* at 100k + thats not cheap, nor in the same realm as the z06|

Oh we weren't saying it was, was just saying that the Z06 and ZR1 don't have leaf springs. And that the fit and finish of the 'vette could be a lot better. I can't comment on the ZR1, as I have yet to see one in person, but excluding that trim/model, the point still rings true.

I dont expect you to actually know about cars...so its ok that you only go off looks. There seems to be some great cars you snub your nose at so your opinion is really just uneducated .

awwww yeah. my first car yo.

went to this race track last night to watch some drifting and drag racing. it was really fun. saw some super cool cars. too bad my camera sucks for taking far away vids, you can barely tell what kind of cars i was filming. there was actually an old dude (full head of gray hair) racing his jeep laredo...it was supercharged though. holy shit that thing was smoking cars...even a 240 sx. anyway it was fun i'm defenitely gonna go back.

I grew up at the drag strip and usually work safety crew when Im in oregon. Was it this jeep?

lol no it was a brand new model that you would see on the road. it's a dodge engine...i forget the exact term for the model but it's the laredo suv, supercharged.

I saw a really old lady driving this car a couple weeks ago. Everyone was staring at it and I don't know what I was more shocked by, the car, or how slow she was driving it (in every possible way)
