Why does someone as high profile as Pippen have to come out and say stupid shit like that BEFORE THE NBA FINALS HAVE EVEN STARTED? He's jinxing the fuck out of them. Now everybody is going to expect the Heat to win it all.

Yeah Mike is pretty much going to hate Scottie for the rest of their lives now.

I hate watching the Heat win but they Bulls deserved to lose that serious. The 4 games they lost were all winnable games, and they gave them away. This was probably the last chance that a team had to take Miami out for a while barring any sort of major injury. That is, of course, contingent on the lock out.

Maybe he and Jordan are not on the best of terms, and he used this opportunity to stick it to Mikey.

Yeah... I don't mind someone having the stones to jab at Mikey once in a while. You know it will make for good entertainment since MJ is Captain Thin Skin.

not a basketball fan but i am following the playoffs and from what ive seen as much as id hate for lebron to win anything, that the heat will take it in 5 games.the mavs have been playing flat through the entire playoffs and the heat are on a huge upswing and i just dont see the mavs, who really have shown me nothing, taking them down.

the way the mavs are playing,if they drop the 2nd game,i dont see them going back to dallas and winning 2 games there.

i think they wil lose game 2,go back to dallas, win game 3,then lose game 4,where it will go back to miami and miami will take it there.

if im wrong and the mavs win thats great.but i think lebron sacrificing his legacy for what he wanted,a ring, has paid off for him quicker then i thought it would.

sorry cavs fans

Dallas on 6

I really don't think that loss was all that crushing for Dallas. Players that normally score a lot didn't score for Dallas, and players who normally don't score a lot did for Miami. I think Barea should get more playing time than Kidd. I don't know how teams haven't started realizing that Kidd is always looking to pass first. Barea adds speed and scoring ability, and the leadership that Kidd brings to the table can be just as valuable coming off the bench.

Let's see if Dallas can figure out Miami's defense, because it shut them down completely. Really, the Heat are so absurdly powerful on both sides of the ball, they are looking great right now. Dallas needs more production from their bench, or they are going to have some problems.

Yeah, Lebron stuck on Terry is bad news for Dallas. They're going to have to work very hard to get him some open looks. Miami's bench is definitely not going to keep outscoring Dallas' though, and Miami is definitely not going to hit 11 3's every game. I think the biggest concern right now is Dirk's injury and getting Jason Terry more open shots.

Farewell Shaq. I can't wait to see what this guy does next haha.

Got my game face on.

Posted by jupiterone on Jun-02-2011 22:05:

dallas is winning tonight

Posted by ziptnf on Jun-02-2011 22:08:

We'll see. Dirk's minor injury could either help him or hurt him. I'm not sure how tentative he's going to be when reaching in for the ball and playing defense, so that could be a downside for Dallas tonight. The Mavs bench needs to step up and score.

Dallas in 5

I CAN'T FUCKING BELIEVE IT.
