That party was pretty badass, Dan. Glad the pictures came out well. That setup is definately fun to play on.
Just to clarify about the neighbor/ground floor situation. It's actually a basement, and that's the only side of the house that isn't semi-underground. The exterior walls seemed to absorb the sound pretty well, as when people wen't out for cigarette breaks, the sound didn't travel much pass the stairs you could see in the last picture.

There's some awesome set ups in here!
Ghettofabulouso - note the $10 monitor stands made from discard wood from Home Despot:
^^ That's a clean setup! Very nice
I've spent the last few weeks finally upgrading my setup. I added the CDJ800MK2s last month....this month, I added the Xone:42.
Now I just need a decent amp and speakers so I can get rid of my crummy altec lansing pc speakers, sigh.
Lovely stuff. The xone 42 is probably the next mixer I will buy. How do you rate it?
Have you used the 92? 64? etc?
I've used the 62, and for a while was torn between the 42 and 62, but the 42 won for two reasons: X/FX and its simple and intuitive layout.
I've not even had a chance to thrown down a proper mix, but once I do, I'll report back with a little more detail. My prior mixer to this was a DJX700 I bought 3 years ago now, and wow, the sound quality is amazing on the 42.
hahah i had the DJX700 as well. biggest piece of shit in the world.

nice upgrade Andre! good to see you got some good upgrade
Okay, so I finally finished my new desk(Or at least to the point where it's functional).
Before, I had two desks, separate for DJing and computer...ing. I wanted to put everything in one place, and so I thought of the desk.
I was going to finish the project by getting a new monitor, since the two 14"s I've been on were complete fail. However, Woot.com kicked out a lovely 37" Westinghouse monitor for a deal, and so I bought one .
It will be put on the wall, at some point. At any rate, moving on.
With a couple prebuilt bases, and a couple laminate countertops, we set to work, and BAM!
It's built to allow for a couple 800s, if I ever choose to upgrade.

I'd love something like that to have as a backup mixer.
Is it a digital mixer? Does it have Midi capabilities and do you know any good websites with impartial reviews/specifications?
The Korg site says it's a 24 bit digital mixer, so I assume so. I do not believe it has MIDI capabilities, given that it doesn't have a MIDI port.
how is it as a mixer? does it feel flimsy much?

^What he said.
I don't mind the smaller controls, I don't tend to slam electronics around...Love the sound it puts out, too...Probably one of the better beginner mixers you can get. I'll probably look at an Allen and Heath mixer, should I desire an upgrade
the Korg 202 has no balanced outputs *thumb down*
