What a boring game to listen to on AM radio. I was driving back home and listening to the Astros & Cardinals on ESPN AM radio.
The only excitement was Pujols homerun, Edmonds catch and Sanders fall or whatever happened in the outfield. What exactly happened? All I gathered was he reached for the fly ball and then crashed down on the warning track. He was taken out of the game.
Been busy lately, but here's a standings update after the two White Sox wins to take a 3-1 series lead and an Astros win to take a 2-1 series lead in their respective series.

up 2-1 . cardinals get 2 big blows with reggie sanders going down hard, and nunez getting hurt with that line drive .
another good team i don't see many talk about ( even though it's pointless, because we all know the horns are going to buckle in november) is texas .. vince young sure looked unhuman yesterday .. 25/29 .. 3 rushing touchdowns ..

i hope the sox can close out the series now. who would have thought vlad would be hitting .062?
im looking for the cardinals to tie up the series today. but its going to be tough will all the injuries that they have.

looks like the astros are going to win this series fair and square .. unless if carpenter and mulder can close the door on the astros, which is probably unlikely .. stros win in 6 .. i think the cardinals win game 5, because you can't doubt carpenter .

it's going to be contreras, garland, and bruehle vs. clemens, oswalt, and petitte ... ??? that should be a no brainer there .. astros have a better pitching advantage, especially with lidge pitching the 8th and 9th innings ..

Well, of the 4, the Astros and White Sox were the 2 I hated least. So... I guess I'm cool with that. Hope the Sox go all the way though.

I never thought the Cards would just curl up and die like this. Im eating my words right now, I didnt give the stros a chance. I just want it to go to at least 6 games so the winner will be less rested than the Sox.
