just like how the NFL got it's name the "No Fun League" when the Pats started winning championships......
.
but i change my mind now. Spurs will lose Game 4 and win Game 5, because it falls on a Sunday. we don't want to see drunk people on a Thursday. Sunday is a better day to get drunk.
go spurs!
4th championship in 9 years......
San Antonio -> best FO in the NBA.
They draftet Tony Parker with the 28th pick and now he's Finals MVP.
And worst Finals I've ever seen.
But not because of the Spurs, Cleveland wasn't ready for the finals.
One great Player alone isn't enough to carry a team to the championship.
Jordan had Pippen, O'Neal Kobe/Wade and so on.
Cleveland won't have any realistic shot at the Title until they sign another great player to support Kobe.

fuck the Kobe trade talk... but I'd like to see the fag in the East.... therfore he'll probably go to a gay west team!
Dipshit(danny ainge) SUPPOSEDLY talked to Minnesota about KG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Al Jefferson(FUCK!!!), Theo, Gerald Green, Telfair and the #5 pick.....
so yeah basically unloading the bench....
Will King jump back on the Celtics bandwagon if KG joins them?

i would like to see KG going to Boston, not for the fact he's going to a team desperate for some motivation to win, but the face he's going to the East. The East needs some big superstars, and well, Garnett is the man. With high possibilities that Durant and Oden going to the West(Seattle and Portland), the East's chances to catch up sooner looks bleak.
however .......
i don't agree with this offer that keeps flying around. jefferson, a draft pick, and a player to be named for KG? that's giving up a lot for 1 guy that's 30+ years old. KG is still pretty good, but age can be the determining factor down the road the next 3 years.
as for kobe, wouldn't be surprised if he goes to chicago. looking at the scenarios, there might be a possibility that kobe will be traded for noicini, hinrich, and a draft pick. the reason is noicini contract is expired, and hinrich is being paid $10 million a year. yet, i am sure the lakers also want deng.

I REALLY don't want Kobe going to the Bulls. Aside from the fact that I absolutely LOATHE Kobe and everything about him, we have such a great group of young talent. Ever since the Chandler/Curry nonsense, the Bulls have only been drafting kids who have won--none of this potential nonsense--just cherry-picking from the final four and international teams. I love it. Heinrich is replaceable, I suppose. As much as I LOVE Nocioni (along with everyone else from Chicago), his wouldn't be a huge loss, but Deng is where I'd draw the line. Of all the players on the Bulls line-up, Deng & Gordon clearly have the most raw talent and the most spectacular potential. If they give up Deng for a few years of Kobe shooting 40 times a game, Reinsdorf can go ahead & start building that concrete block for his trip to Lake Michigan now. I defy anyone to make a case for any other team having a better group of young players than the Bulls do right now. If they keep that core (Heinrich, Deng, Gordon) together and don't decide to pair them up with another Bill Wennington or Bill Cartwright, I'll be pretty damn surprised if they don't win a title, or at least go to the finals several times in the next few years.
Greg Oden (dominating center 1st pick), LaMarcus Aldridge (all rookie team 2nd pick), Brandon Roy (ROY), and Zach Randolph 23 pts, 10 rebs., plus Jarret Jack/Sergio Rodriguez at PG.
My Blazers are just as young and talented.
Cut fade to black
wow. there are heavy reports a possible 4 team trade involving indiana, minnesota, the lakers, and a 4th team(imo the best possible choice is the bulls) could take effect, where odom and bynum would go to pacers, and garnett going to the lakers, and oneal going to the wolves. this looks very interesting.
Phoenix?
Dunno what they'd want though

Marion makes huge money that will add to the already high tax the Suns would pay next year since they'd be over the cap. That's why they'd trade him in a deal for KG. Since KG makes like 200 million a year, they'd be more inclined to swap the larger salaries. Amare makes a lot less and they'd be more reluctant to trade him in that case.

I dont know, call me crazy, but if I was in the NBA, and I had the chance to go to a team and make it a winner again, I'd fuckin jump.... wtf are these guys thinking???? |
i love how the media is trying to sell the fact that the blazers are interested in Durant. If the Blazers don't take Oden, the whole Blazers management should be fired. Now looking top to bottom at their lineup, they look pretty solid in their first year with jack, roy, aldridge, and oden. if randolph stays, book this team +10-15 wins.
the blazers did win 32 games last year. the problem with the blazers last year was randolph and james not playing all the games(68 and 57 games respectively), aldridge not getting into the starting lineup until late(started 22 games last year), and no real inside presence. they did have magloire(who i thought would make a big impact, but didn't) and travis outlaw, but they never really made big contributions. oden will make a big contribution next year. book him for 11 points, 8 rebounds, 2-2.5 blocks, and many distracted shots easily.
