Yeah I love it to death, only thing I don't like is that it has odd dimensions so I still have yet to find a case to put it in where I wouldn't have to shave off the side padding to fit.

Haha it's Pick up the pieces by Average White Band. Screamingly good funk tune.

Finished moving and my other technics still hasn't come in the mail yet By the way, the oddly colored lamp on top of the left speaker is a red light, so at night everything has a red glow to it, i like it.

That looks like Dr. Kleiner's lab in Half-Life 2. Minus all the music gear of course.

Yeah Truths. I think I've asked you before, but what monitor stands are those?

Posted by kdp feat. Lello on Mar-11-2009 00:11:

Cool! but... are bottles in a good place? Over the monitor?
And the vibrations?

For as much punch these monitors have, they surprisingly don't vibrate much at all- and the stands are very stable.
I ran out of space in my room in the new house I just moved into- and didn't want all my bros drinking all of my expensive liquor

miamitranceman: I bought those a couple years ago. Can't remember the exact model but I just did a quick google search and found these for about 70 a piece. They have spikes on the bottom to clinch the carpet, or rubber for hard floors. Very stable- my only complaint is that I would have liked them to extend a little more so I could get the monitors at ear level- but they're pretty close to that...

Took me ages to find this site again... They need to improve their tags or something to get better hits on google.

http://www.styleflip.com/

You do it yourself. Costs vary depending on what you're covering.
A little bit busy for me above but they do look cool.

I kinda do too, but this weeks the original surface clean and what not. I do agree that it's a lil busy, didn't think of it when I made it. Oh well live and learn lol this one cost $50

that only makes the mixer looks cheap as a toy.

yeah, if you had replaced "DJ Cevin" with "Invol2ver" then you would've been fine.

What were you thinking?

Posted by Monocle on Mar-12-2009 16:07:

lol I don't think it's thaaaaaaaaaaat bad ... I woulda probably picked a different design, but look at some of the pictures up on there and alot of the designs are sick. I was checking these out the other day and the styleflip site has a photobucket i think it is (or one of those photo hosting sites) with 100+ pictures of different setups with their vinyl stickers on them... some of them look pretty fuckin pimp, especially the sasha and digweed ones.

Posted by boris_the_bear on Mar-12-2009 16:34:

you should have bought this one

Just moved into a flat with a basement, stage one of the studio conversion is complete (i.e. actually got the decks set up). Next step, desk for production PC and a rack for the mixer/synths. Probably a trip to Ikea for some shelving to put the rest of the vinyl in too.
