Chad Ford on ESPN says theCeltics wouldn't go for that one. LOL

Ratliff is all about salary cap relief. Ray Allen is great but getting old. Pierce is great but he isn't a super duper star. I'd put him like 25th best player in the NBA now.

Oregonian says the Blazers will draft Greg Oden. Like that's a surprise. The GM refuted the claim last night from Ric Bucher as did Oden on Jim Rome this morning.

I'm VERY happy. Right choice. Big men like Duncan win championships. Durant types are flashy and he'll be awesome just think Oden will win more championships.

No way the Blazers trade Zach to the knicks. Don't worry about that. That's a WILD idiotic rumor. Our GM Kevin Pritchard is way too smart for that. Give him some leeway from last year's draft which he was responsible for.

Zach trade was one of the worst ever! Francis will be bought out I hear from his contract which expires in 2 years. So the Blazers would be 29 million under the cap that year when there is big free agents available. Still... worst trade ever. Zach is worth a ton more than that.

Good luck with Ray Allen too. Haha. Dude is breaking down and 32 years old. Who gets the ball with Pierce and Allen? Boston might get the #8 seed now and live in the next 5 years in mediocrity. Congratulations!

I Posted that trade rumour for a reason guys, Blazers GMs always have to do something stupid.
To give up Zach for Frye and Francis is really bad - trading Zach AND Fred Jones is the biggest mistake they did this year.
Frye+Francis stats combined cant touch Zach's stats for godsakes!

Prichard has almost lost the credit i gave him for the trades he did last year.

The one good thing he made last night was getting Rudy Frenandes, i love that guy! ive whatched him play in sevral European leagues and he OWNED them all.

They already said the Blazers will buy out Steve Francis' contract and he'll never play for them. It's a salary cap move that will make them 29 million under the cap in 2 years. They should have got more but there is another trade in the works that Pritchard talked about last night for a small forward. They also get James Jones from Phoenix in that trade. That's not the other deal I think. They can't announce that other deal for 7-10 days per NBA rules.

If they just gave up Telfair instead of Delonte, or just DIDN'T give up Delonte.. I'd be a lot more satisfied... but no, Ainge loves giving away promising players....

and of course... Randolph would have been a better fit then Allen... but that makes too much sense... so Ainge didn't do that.... fuckin retarded.....

what was golden state thinking giving away richardson for an unproven guy branden wright? wright was playing 6th man for unc. i think this definately benefits charlotte, because they now have a guy that can create ways to score by himself, and take down guys one on one. the guy he's replacing, gerald wallace, was good, but didn't have that type of impact. now with richardson, he will draw double teams, creating open shots for felton, herrmann, and morrison, and an open lane for okafor. they still have a couple of missing pieces here and there, but they're heading the right direction. maybe matt caroll will start looking like matt maloney.

as for the blazers-knicks trade, i don't know what to say. frye has plenty of upside, and can be a force at pf/c with aldridge and oden. the knicks now will have marbury, crawford, randolph, richardson, and curry on the floor. what an unlikely group of people.
