You know I actually haven't really tried to use it in that way. I usually end up just using the mixer's on-board effects.

I'm not as familiar with the Evo4, but I know with the 5, there are a series of steps you have to go through in the menus to properly enable midi on each channel.

So yeah, not really sure. There are a couple of Evo users on the Torq forums that might be able to help.

i have to agree man, i've had them all, urei's bozak's rane's u name it i had it!!!

i have never felt so contented with a mixer.....mixing with the filter per channel is the best ever....it really brings alot of energy into the mix

yup, it does wonders for warming up productions done in DAWs like ableton that would otherwise sound really harsh and digital too. I've listened to tons of tube based compressors and mixers but I just love the sonic character of the V6. If only I had the later production model that had tubes on all 6 channels...

i have an early one with only 2 tubes as well but i think u can still add the extra's and be happy u have an older one the later ones were made in china vs the UK from what i heard

When you think about it, it's amazing this thread has persisted for all these years WITHOUT being stickied!

That said, I support this!

Holy Schmoly! I knew that would happen this morning.

I have to admit as of late, the server's been struggling a little.

But I'm not complaining I still come back every day without fail. I also think the Dj Booth has picked up quite a bit in the last month or two. Dunno why.. It was awfully dead before that.

And to stay on topic, here is a picture of a dj setup

It is good to see more life in this forum.

Posted by miamitranceman on Dec-07-2009 22:50:

Yeah it's great to have a mod that mods.

Posted by n3lly on Dec-08-2009 01:40:

I'm quite enjoying it as well.

Might take me a day or so sometimes to see some suggestions but I usually try to trawl through most posts to see if any questions or suggestions are being made.

Keep 'em coming and I'll do my best to have a go at any suggestions (reasonable ones)..
