i didnt think he would get a lot of game play coz c'mon...spains got one of the best midfields...xavi,garcia,alonso,reyes,joaquin,iniesta etc.
this boy has got tons n tons of talent...and Wenger has fine tuned him to be better and consistent...hard to believe he's only 19!!!!

Wenger's eye for talent and shrewd transfer dealings are the reason why he's one of the best managers in modern football - He turned Thierry Henry from a winger to one of the best strikers in the world, Ivory Coast's Kolo Toure from midfielder to world-class defender and then he let Arsenal legend Patrick Vieria go to Juventus because he was grooming Fabregas to be his successor.

Fabregas was playing out-of-his-skin in the latter half of the Premiership/Champions League season, and it's wicked to see him doin' it at the World Cup now. (That through-ball was indeed sick). I can only imagine what he'll be like when he hits his prime - He could possibly play in at least three more World Cup tournaments before he retires.

^^ i just hope he doesnt burn out...i mean hes only 19 and to play 50 odd games in the season n then the world cup. and i really want to see him progress and get better as he grows old...after all , footballers reach their peak around 28-32...if he's this good at 19 then i think we've got another 10 yrs atleast to enjoy his vision, creativity and eye for the killer pass. i think he might turn out to be 'the' most amazing footballer over the next decade and eclipse Zidane as a football legend of modern times.

btw, Fred is shortform for Frederico. Brazil uses alot of nicknames (ie, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Robinho, Pele etc...) istead of last or first names in the back of their shirts.

yes yes we know that...but its still funny....."fred"...and yes he did play nicely...but that was a walk in goal...

im waiting to see what brasil has in store on thursday....

Nah, its because having a nickname and being only referred to by your nickname is alot more common in Brazil then here in North America

If England loses to Sweden today (also depending on goal differentials) they might play Germany next

Keeping my fingers crossed that they do.

Nah they won't I really want Sweden to go through but that's life...

England can potentially knock out Germany as well I just don't want to see that happen yet.

Sweden's in second place now they can still walk in...a tie would be perfect...England's in 1st, and Sweden in 2nd

Posted by Adamo on Jun-20-2006 17:54:

what did I predict...same shit as 2002 for Poland. Fucking pathetic. This win means nothing. Janas is getting fired and we need some major resructuring. Horrible performance and the embarrassment of a nation once again.

Posted by arek on Jun-20-2006 18:13:

england will destroy sweden.

Posted by starsearcher on Jun-20-2006 18:36:

Ibrahimovich isn't playing...but don't say that England will destroy Sweden...aparently England has never beat Sweden before...but it's Frank Lampard's b-day today so he's ready.

Come on England!

wtf man?

Why is everyone so Anit-German?

They alway sho the Hottest Women from the Spanish, British, Swedish, and of Course Brazilian women, but they always portray German women as above!

I can guarantee there are way better looking German Women than that!

Just look at most of the top models in the last 10-15 years! Do I have to mention the name?
