It's gonna take some time for me to explain this, so this post is out of the game

Valentine's day here is in June because of two simple reasons:

1) There are no commercial holiday's in June, so it heats up the economy in a month that used to be a nightmare (economically speaking)

2) Brazil is a very catholic nation, and the legend says that St. Antonio (Antoine in English?) is the saint who protects marriages, people in love and stuff - since his day is June 21st, it was the perfect day for the celebration.

It's a Brazilian thing
