Sure i called them 1201's ha.. Just caught my eye I've got a set of Mk3's so it's always something that pops out in case I see another person with the mk3's.. seeing as they're not as common.

Nice gear. Speaker placement is horrible though. Laptop stand seems to be the wrong way around too (the cable groove on the front and it's too close and low IMO). I also don't understand why the mixer is slanted. Probably makes the top buttons even harder to access.

i put them monitors wherever they dont affect me much. Laptop is on the right way. the gains on the 32 make the mixer to big to fit so its slanted the way it is . Fortunately I can still access all EQ's

Beautiful gear/table, but I must ask how do you deal with adjusting the Gain trim? From that angle it's virtually impossible to reach. I miss my Xone:32 :'( lol.

good point about the gains! im so sick of the Xone32 layout myself.
the LFO led is going to make me go into trance and kill someone someday.

The 32 is a wonderful piece of kit - perfect for DJing Techno and House on wax, where all I need is solid build, sound and EQs (the filter's simply icing on the cake). And as has been mentioned countless times before, the gains at the back may be awkward at first, but eventually become a non-issue. And if a blinking light for the LFO is driving you batty, what the fuck happens to you when you walk into a nightclub?

And ortofon, for someone who seems to think he knows what's what, that layout is a bit of a joke. You need to spread that shit out.

it is impossible reach, anyway i dont use them. I can still mix properly without. The space is mean't for DJM800-900 so i might get one of those in the future, cheers.

Not sure if that was directed towards me or not. If it is, here is my response:

After just replacing a lot of gear recently, I need to hold back about on new gear acquisition. That and the fact I'm going to be moving soon puts a damper on new gear purchases for now.

Yeah, but I already have the Ubsertand. I don't touch the laptop much when I'm mixing, so just having it elevated and off the desk is enough for me at the moment. If I was traveling for gigs I could see the benefit of having a more durable stand, but for right now the Ubsertand is all I need.

Perfect.. It does sit up nicely there and from what you're saying there's obviously no need to splash out so.
Lovely set up though, everything is nice and simple. Just got myself an X1 recently. Lovely piece of kit. The encoders feel great.
