Now that we have rightly reclaimed our place as kings of england, maybe we can pull a liverpool next season and send our players on a holiday throughout the seasons barring the champions league games.

And Ecnal, i doubt youl be watching but il be sure to post the video of terry and the rest of his beaten bitches applauding the United squad onto the pitch in front of his home fans.

THATS RIGHT FUCK YOU ALL. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND!!!

lighten up fer christ's sake. we're just havin a laugh.

bitter losers keep saying that we only we took the champions league seriously. we took every competition seriously, but fell short. we remained in the champions league and prioritised toward the end of the season. it's what any other team would have done.

when we win the league, the real kings of england will regain their crown. we've won it 18 times in case you forgot.

Ok ok.... we all need to lighten up, this is the man united thread, so lets get back to manU talk.

Does he need much?
His squad kicks ass, if he has to make a sale, then he might be able to have a squad with three different world class players?

Posted by raveed on May-13-2007 00:28:

Hargreaves is one , we been very strongly linked to berbatov in recent weeks but i dont see him leaving , gareth bale as well.

I think we have a real good chance of signing bale and with bayern not qualifying for the champions league this season, they might have some want out starts and may need the extra funds as well. But I think now fergie wants to play less than the 18 million we supposedly bid for him at the end of the january transfer market.

Id think we could use a good left back , a left winger and a striker.

Posted by FCB_Fanatic on May-14-2007 17:25:

Don't know Gareth Bale, but I do know Berbatov would be an excelent buy

Posted by The_G0dfather on May-14-2007 18:49:

Berbatov, no way ManU should by him. He aint that good. Selling RVN and buying Berbatov, how ridiculous wouldnt that be.

I never seen berbatov playing in germany, but from what i've seen of him in the premiership this season (which is quite a lot), i'd say he is a pretty good player. In fact I'd say he is a fuckin tremendous player.

He's definately been one of the best players in england this season I think man utd would be glad to have him tbh (although they won't sign him)

Berbatov is excellent but hes not an out and out striker which is what we need (although our goal tally for the season doesnt reflect that) ... but if united make a move for him, they might just land him provided he wants to leave and makes it clear and then we use saha as bait which united should anyway because hes one of the players who needs to go.

Eto'o has been another one one of the names linked but apparently united have been quoted somewhere close to the 30 million pound range so no way is that materializing. Dont want that 'im to good for the bench or to be substituted because im just passionate to play' wanker at old trafford anyway.

Would love to see Torres come but if he leave atletico, I think he will go to Liverpool since they got both money and a touch of spain now.

probably true, yes + he's also a pretty expensive player if I'm not mistaken. Tottenham bought him for about 17 milion from Leverkussen last year, and they'll probably want to make some profit when selling him

Posted by The_G0dfather on May-14-2007 23:20:

Eto'o aint moving.

Posted by noikeee on May-15-2007 01:24:

Berbatov is brilliant.

His contract up?
You really think fernando would want to come to liverpool, or that we'd make a move for him?

Huntelaar (Ajax) for 15mil...still a rumor, but, imo He can inherit RvN's place...

I have my doubts he'll be making it in the Premier League

His contract is not up for atleast another 3 years if I am not mistaken but he did say recently that if Atletico does not qualify for the Champions League he would like to move on.

Since he would probably not play in Spain if he were to leave Atletico, England is his most likely destination and realistically, he would probably be happiest at Liverpool. Hicks is expected to pump massive amounts of money into new player purchases, improvising facilities etc.. Then theres Benitez and the rest of the pool Spanish armada that would make him feel most at home and with the Champions League being so high on his priority list and Liverpool being the most successful English club in Europe in recent times, the facts all point toward Liverpool being perfect for him. Ofcourse, I hope im wrong.

On a side note, we have probably got Hargreaves now. Hope its not for the 17 million as is being speculated in the papers because if its true, then Bayern got a very good deal. Not to exited about him coming since I havent seen much of him besides the world cup but, it will be interesting to see how he fits in to the lineup. Will probably result in United playing a 3-1-4-2 next season when they field the strongest squad.

Rooney broke his foot....

good thing they got Tevez!!!

Posted by Saka on Aug-13-2007 09:41:

Bad news for me as Rooney's in my dream team

Posted by Dj Smitty20 on Aug-14-2007 21:31:

If these players would stop being so bloody fashionable with their fancy Nike slippers and just wear the old style football BOOTS from 30-40 years ago, there wouldn't be nearly as many broken foots and sprained ankles.

Can't say that I'm sad to see United lose Rooney but it's a huge blow to England's fading hope of making Euro 2008.

Posted by Saka on Aug-15-2007 23:05:

Well, McLaren liked to mess things up, got rid of Beckham at the beginning and annoyed Jamie Carragher, probably the best English defnder, and he doesn't look to any other English player, when there are loads doing well in the PL.

Out with McLaren I say.

Posted by sleepydragon on Aug-16-2007 11:44:

the trouble with the england team no matter of whos in charge the players have always been picked on reputation and not form and its wrong
they will never win anything, no matter how shit lampard or gerrard play they will still get pick. You have just got to look at beckham hes playing in a shit league still not fully fit only played 1 game and will
still get in the england team.

Posted by Saka on Aug-17-2007 23:49:

I agree.

How many English players are there that any other country would pick for their national team?

Silly!
