Well, the Red Cross stated that there were 28 dead in the Kana incident, and not 60 like other sources said through the day. It's still not sure what really happened there, but it was a wrong move, no matter what (by the IDF that is).

The 48 hours cease-fire will only help Hizbulla to runaway and reinforce their supply.

Ive seen posts like "A world without religion".

While they may seem like a good idea, it really isnt. Religion set down the guidelines for most of our laws/morales and laws/morales are what guide the vast majority of people on this earth.

There are people who break the law, and people who's morales arent up to the majority's standards, but you cant blame the driving force that keeps most of these people in line, again, a select few can paint a bad picture for a much larger number.

I am not sure about it, but Jew is a race, not a religion. Like Blacks, Whites, Asian, Indian...

If you need religion to teach you morals, means you dont really understand why you dont hate other races, or why you dont kill your neighbour, or why you dont steal. If you only refrain because some invisible omnipotent being will punish you when you die a reality check is due. What morality is based on punishment? It is as if you were describing animals and classical conditioning.

I do agree that this is the sad state with a lot of people, i would just love to see a world when people actually understand why we refrain from agressing others instead of just doing it in fear of punishment.

Several people in the bar took a few tentative steps as though they wanted to try to break it up at that point, but hands reached out from the crowd and held them tight. Ever since Nasser accidentally discovered the trick in �56, every subsequent Arab leader has stuck to his tried and true formula for military success: Instigate a war. Once the war is well underway and you are in the process of having your ass handed to you� get a few world powers to force your western opponent into a cease-fire. Whatever you do, don�t surrender or submit to any terms dictated by your enemy. That would ruin everything! All you have to do is wait it out and eventually the world will become sickened at what is being done to your soldiers and civilian population� and will force a truce. Once a truce has been called, you can resume your intransigence (which probably caused the conflict in the first place), and even declare victory as your opponent leaves the field of battle. This tactic has never failed. Not once. In fact it worked so well for the Egyptians in 1973, that to this day they celebrate the Yom Kippur War � a crushing defeat at the hands of Israel � as a military victory! No kidding� it�s a national holiday over there! President Lahoud has already begun to shriek like a school girl to the UN Security Council to �Stop the violence and arrange a cease-fire, and then after that we�ll be ready to discuss all matters.� Uh huh. Forgive me if I find that a tad hard to swallow. He allowed Hezbollah to take over his country. He allowed the regular Lebanese army to provide radar-targeting data for the Hezbollah missile that struck the Israeli destroyer. He has turned a blind eye while Iranian and Syrian weapons, advisers and money have poured into his country. And now that his country is in ruins he wants to call it a draw. As much as it may sicken the world to stand by and watch it happen, strong hands need to hold back the weak-hearted and let the fight continue until one side finally admits unambiguous defeat.

The Aztec civilization had a vibrant culture which included mandatory education and a rich and complex mythology. For Europeans, the most striking element of the Aztec culture was the practice of human sacrifice which was conducted throughout Mesoamerica prior to the Spanish conquest.

BEARING STRAIGHT.... well technically it was, at that time, the bearing isthmus, or land bridge. secondly, while stating that your bloodlines have been in this hemisphere for thousands of years may be correct, since the earth only has a north and south hemisphere (hemisphere does mean half of a sphere.....), your argument is moot as the europeans have been in the northern hemisphere for thousands of years as well.
