i sympathize...
I am SO not ready for it on some levels, but i figure i would go ahead anyway, sounds easy enough besides the science part. i found out i *just* made the last two cutoff dates so i figure ill just go ahead and DO IT!
^^you said you had to "make the chedda", like you were 50 cent or something!!!
Anatomy and physiology is easy, it all about memorizing in anatomy, and common sense with physiology. I could teach you easily, but I wouldnt know WHEN I could do it...thats the prob.

They would end up taking notes. However I would always end up with higher grades ahha. Also cramming was somewhat of a strength of mine as well as placement tests, so im HOPING it still rings true.
Around 2pm I called my dad to see if he was gonna be on the train so we can sit together. He didn't answer his phone so I figured he was either too busy or the ringer was off. When I got to the station I didn't see his car which lead me to believe he left early for some reason. So now I just get home and see him laying on the couch and ask him why he was home so early. He told me that he was running to catch the train this morning to sit by me when he slipped and hit his head on the metal edge of the concrete stairs at the train station
He said he almost passed out and was feeling extremely dizzy. After a couple minutes he got up and drove himself to the hospital which is only about 3 minutes away from the station. They took tests and everything came out negative but he seems VERY tired and a little out of it. He was shaking his head as if he felt some kind of shame. I feel so bad for him. I can't even imagine how he feels. I almost think I should take off work tomorrow to take care of him but my mom works at home and I know he wouldn't want me to miss a day of work for him.
^^ OMG!!!!
im soo sorry to hear of this!!!
im glad he made it to the hospital and that he's ok.
I don't blame you, in your shoes, I would *want* to keep a close eye on him in the next few hours if not within the next day or so, just to be safe. Because anything can happen, anything can change in a matter of minutes. Do whatever your instincts tell you to do.
What he went through, it sounds SERIOUS! i mean im glad all tests came out negative...but iono I would want a 2nd opinion or at least wait a few hours and see if his condition worsens etc., esp if hes still out of it. AT least he wasn't concussed. I'm not saying this to make you worried, im just concerned.
Thanks so much for your sympathy! I was just talking to him and he said he can't taste or smell anything at the moment and he's still talking about going to work tomorrow. I feel so bad for him, he's gotten beat up the past few weeks. First, he was standing under a person welding at work and a piece of burning hot metal fell on his neck and left a welt a little bit bigger than the size of a nickel. A week or so after that, he was tightening something and that popped off and hit him in the neck (on the other side) and now this happens.

It was not such a hot idea to ride the bike to work today
I grabbed the keys looked outside and decided it looked like its not gonna rain anymore. 15 minutes later, felt like I was being attacked by a firehose - top it all off, I did not have my waterproof boots on. Lucky I got a locker in the gym @ work ... hope it's not raining on the way home

Traffic was horrible...took me 2 hours to get here. Exit 29 on the northern state is completely under water and all the cars had to create one lane and drive on the mud and grass on a slant at the side of the highway. I was scared I was gonna tip over if I hit a bump. I made it to work tho, gonna be a bitch getting home as well.
To top it off they are doing construction there too so the traction is really bad on the rough road they left.
Ugh, what a freakin' day. It all started at around 8am when I was working with my journeyman. We were running some bx into a pull box that needed to be spliced. So he tells me to go up on a ladder (a 10' one) and splice them together. When I'm up on the ladder he says to me, "you know it's live, right?" I said, "No, but now I do." As an apprentice, I'm not supposed to work on anything live. You're not even supposed to do it when you're a journeyman, but you do anyway. Now I'm up on the ladder and I splice the ground together first. Then I take the wire nut off the neutrals and go to add another one when all of a sudden ZZZAAAPPP. I got a nice shock that went across one arm, passed my chest and down the other one. I made the mistake of putting my hand on a metal stud which gave the electricity a path to travel. Mother******. I jolted back quite a bit but not enough for anyone to notice. Luckily it was time for me to get coffee so my journeyman told me to come down and start taking a coffee order. I was a little weary going down the ladder and my coordination was definitly a little off for a few minutes.
Now it's about 8:30 when I go for coffee and it wasn't raining too hard yet... until I stepped outside. It started to fucking pour. Lucky me, in a t-shirt walking in the rain to the deli. When I get to the deli, the rain lets up. When I'm done and walking out, it starts to down-pour again. I'm thinking, "wtf did I do to deserve this?"
The day passes and of course I leave work late because I left a power tool upstairs and had to go get it. Get to 53rd/Lex via 6 train and wait for another 15 min for the E train to come. People pack on like sardines. Finally get to Penn and take the 3:27 home. Thank God.
As for an update on my dad, he took Monday off because he still felt light headed and dizzy but he went back to work yesterday and is starting to feel a lot better and is getting his taste back more and more. He went to a neurologist who said he had a concussion. I'm just glad he's progressing!
i was in the office till 2:30 am last night.
WTF? The latest I have ever stayed was 11:30 and it's been a year. I hope you are not at work today man
