Yeah, I'm not a fan of most Porsches either. I do like this one.

They do come stock, but on the 997 turbo and not on that abomination called cayman s (though the one in the pic does look sick, though one of these isnt nowhere near as impressive in person).

Originally posted by Lilith There's a silver and black one running around my neighbourhood, they look much nicer in the metal than in pictures. Also sounds really good. Still in the event I lost a frontal lobe and spent 1/4 mil on a car, the R8 wouldn't be it. Think they are bringing out a V10 one, so that might actually go as fast as it looks
Prob been posted up before but eh - sitting in the middle to drive tickles my fancy with two feminina's on the other sides..
and of course

Originally posted by Moongoose Crashing at 200kmh into a lampost is more of a porsche thing than a lambo isnt it. Theres a reason why the (early) turbos were nicknamed the widowmaker :P 200kmh into a ligt or tree will do that for you ON the other hand lambos tend to be driven slowly, since the most important thing to do in a lambo is to look good (especially if youre italian), and nobody can see how good you look if youre doing 200kmh.Actually just now i have come up with a theory. Everybody speding in a lambo within city limits must be incredibly ugly, since clearly they dont want people to look at them. The problem with lambos though, is that you dont need to hit a lamppost for it to burst into flames...

Originally posted by Lilith hehe, yep the older Porches are real terrors. I baby-sat a friends old one from the 1980's for a few weeks that he'd strapped a whopping big turbo onto, so that when you got to about 4000rpm it was THE worst turbo lag ever! Whole back of the car would tramp down on its suspension, barely any weight over the front wheels and that really wasn't much fun when it came to doing important stuff like... turning corners or stopping its arse overtaking its nose.

Originally posted by Lilith I guess the kindest thing to say about them is that they're simply a practical design with a low drag coefficient and the latter models aren't too ugly.

You seem to think I always attack you for some reason, like that time I apparently bagged out your bf when I hardly said anything

Yes, the fucking 6 series in an awesome car, that just cant be said enough.
& the 2 Million dollar car.

everytime i see one of these i am astonished volvo regrouped and released such a retro-beautiful car.
but GOD would it need some thick rims, and wishfully, AWD. the glass door is so awesome.
i still think its awesome, but the mazdaspeed3 is likely more fun|
Your wish may come true. They are seriously considering a C30R in the US.

Originally posted by pmoisse haha!!! Yeah, I totally remember that though I faithfully stand by my love for the ugly duckling of the Porsche family (the 924 can fuck off, stupid piece of shit doesn't even exist to me lol)

Originally posted by Matt Es thanks the last pic i posted is actually my car haha the red one with the popped hood. anybody else on here addicted to bmws?
me and my friend are actually thinking of buying e30s, i really want one. they look like such fun cars and theres a lot of aftermarket parts available etc. which makes it a fun project car in my opinion.
ive been looking for this window molding for my e24 6 series for a few months now...
but im still addicted to that car
Yeah unfortunately, the E26 is really hard to find parts for. Especially in the US. And although I think it is a great car, I am not a fan of the styling. To each their own though.
