tbh the boat was just meh....nothing spectacular (except the size of the fucking thing)

Boat was crazy, not to sure of the other floors, didn't spend much time on them... but the Loco Dice vs. Luciano floor was awesome! The sound was great IMO, I thought it would be shit, the bass from the Luciano vs. Loco Dice set was so thick and snappy! And fuckin right it was a booth party and a half, it was all Richie'esq booth party style...half the bill from DEMF was jaming with Dice and Luciano... and it was just solid fun... coulda been the music, the time, the atmosphere, the anicipation, I think it was the company, lots of friends and stuff... met a few you TA's too, what up El K Dee and jennypie! We still had bottles on us till 4am!

Finally woke up after an epic recovery sleep today... going through pictures and videos now, full review later... Woke up today and figured FOR SURE there would be a "REVIEWEMF 2009" thread!

Everyone must be recuperating from the shitshow!

PS - Need whatever song that was Luciana or Loco Dice played on the boat around 3am or so, maybe 3:30... kinda frenchy, had vocals that sounded kinda like "Do Me Baby, let's do me baby, let's do me baby what's up" and some solid bass cuts and shit.. really groovy, funky and banging... NEED THAT TUNE!
I know it's shitty video quality, hopefully my friends had some better ones...

How was Monday? I had to skip out b/c Ian and I went to Old Miami all day and then came back to Windsor in the evening so he could catch his train.

You guys looked to be in pretty rough shape. Hopefully things improved from that point!

Monday was fun; some of the best dancers were busting out their A material in the afternoon/evening, and the breaks stage (Red Bull) was 3 floors above insane. However, I think a lot of the Toronto crew were worn out from Old Miami; most didn't show up 'til quite late and seemed just a tad on the tired side. And that's not a dig to anyone here mind you, I know I'd have been in the same shape or worse if I'd gone.

I felt like Sunday was really the best night in terms of energy and vibe, but Monday was definitely more packed and more rave-like, and more chill at the same time, which was pretty cool. I only stayed 'til 11 though, so it could have gotten crazier near the end.

I was mostly at the beatport stage in what I now believe is the toronto section based on last year and this year...lol

I think that side is pretty much the southern ontario section! Right up against the underpass...
