Both teams deserve to be in the finals by going thru some tough competition. Only thing I hate is now one team is crumbling before our eyes. You can't always have a great series. It's all about the W and thats it. You can't pull that off then go home. This will be lebron's second time and might* now be his last. Dirk just can't choke like he did the 1st time. Right now he learned his lesson.

*Will not be his last!! He will make it 2-3 more times before he retires but with a ring?? Does not look good.

I agree. It now seems as if Miami does need to invest in some better role players if they want to win it all. The burden of every game can't fall on 1 or 2 players, but it has been for them especially in this series. Either Wade or Lebron is having to have a monster game, or come up clutch in the 4th quarter for them to win, and while Wade has had a great series, it hasn't been enough. I think what they really need is a better center. Their best center right now is 6'9. That's just not going to cut it against a team with three 7 footers.

I've been finding many reasons to not want Miami win in the past couple days as well. I don't think any "real" sports fan would want to see a team win with players who act so classless and cocky, and then go out and get beat.

Some of you guys are acting like the series is already over. Stephen, what sports have you played in your life? And I mean regularly, as in, being on a team. Have you ever been subjected to pressure in a serious game environment? I'm curious as to what exactly you know about mental toughness.

I won't say that there shouldn't have been more to give in games 4 and 5 for the Heat, but any fat mother****** can sit on their ass and bitch about how a team isn't being mentally tough or "falling asleep" at crunch time. Sometimes the other team hits shots that they wouldn't have earlier. I mean, let's be real here, Dallas won game 5 because they shot the lights out, not because Miami lacked toughness.

And @EarnYourKeep, if it weren't for Lebron, Miami would have been out against the Celtics. Just keep that in mind.

I played hurling for fun in Ireland, but when my family moved here in 2004, I played a year of baseball in high school before going to uni, as I've always enjoyed baseball, but never had the chance to play before. I was a pitcher, where you're essentially in control of the whole game yourself, and where the difference of inches on the location of every pitch can be the difference between a strikeout and a home run, or a win and a loss. So kindly stick your previous post up your ass nice and deep.

I conveniently did not leave out mental toughness. Players miss shots. Lebron and the rest of the Heat missed shots. Dallas didn't. Sometimes that is because of poor decision making on offense, not mental toughness.

This argument is incredibly tiresome, and I'm tired of bickering over it. So let's review the facts:

You were in full support of the Heat and wanted them to win until the playoffs ( ) in which you decided to switch your support to Dallas presumably after Game 2 when the Heat collapsed so hard. I considered your sudden switch to be the result of bandwagoning. You are insisting it isn't. I'm losing interest in this argument rapidly, because we keep hashing over the same points.

I had no idea if you had ever played a sport, so that's why I asked. Nowhere in that statement did I imply that you had no idea what it was like in pressure situations in a game. From your previous comments, you seemed to dismiss what was at stake here, and how sometimes even great players can crack under pressure.
