ps do you guys use WIDI for recognizing?
http://widisoft.com/
I tried to recognize DJ Tiesto - Nyana with that program and I've had decent result, WIDI added a lot of "free" notes tho
And if you want to use it, set in the options number of tracks in the result midi file to 1 if you want to save all notes to one track(default is 8).

Posted by Overdose.de on Jun-08-2004 14:58:

Best way is to use a variety of methods, including trying to recognise a bass melody and then recognise the higher notes, also have the song which you want to make the midi file from in your sequencer and to raise or lower it till it sounds the same, i tend to use widi to recognise chords as they are slightly harder to distinguish.

I use my ears... And I like to make the bass notes first since it help imo...

I know that John requested this in December (i was reading previous posts) so here i made:
Shane 54 - Equinoxe 4 (Martin Eyerer Remix) (Save As)

and as far as i know the mat silver - tony burt remix is the same, if not then im sure you can manage to edit it!

Hey Wayjin, I checked out that DJ Hinx track and I think you got the lead right and this is how I believe the riff is:

Just a reminder and a note to all new "requesters":

I won't make any midis unless you provide me with a sample. It ain't easy to recreate melodies you've never heard...

Posted by steelmeister on Jun-08-2004 23:13:

Post a sample of what u want to have as a midi, then the wizards can start with their magic

i seem to have problems accessing your site jim.
this is what i get:

Sidan saknas!

Sidan du frsker titta p r inte tillgnglig fr tillfllet.

Du kan kontakta vr kundservice p e-post [email protected] eller p telefon 0200 - 88 88 88 om du vill bertta om problemet.

Vi ber dig prova igen lite senare!
Glocalnet

it's my favorite language, but i cant read it
i'll try again later

@everyone else: the_drow is making the midi site in asp, so you can use a better search function the ctrl+f. therefor i keep the updates a bit simple with just a link to the folder with the files. i hope it will be better soon, but it's very good possible the site is renewed after i get back from my summerholidays (that's the 16th of july) [spammpde] i also restyled my own website [/spammode]

john

edit: i made another Blank & Jones - Cream midi
Blank & Jones - Cream v2

Hehe, John I know. I love Dutch you know! Love those guttural "grrr" sounds you ppl make. Like Armin in ASOT...

Don't know what's up with my server, I'll upload them to a new one.

Here's the ronald van gelderen, I didn't do it exactly, but at least the melody progression is there.
