Franchino,Gabry Fasano,Cominotto,Saccoman,ecc...aren't project name or aliases,They are them real names

why do these artists use aliases?

That has been discussed a million times on TA, just search for threads about it. It's all about trying different sounds, aliases/artist names signed only to certain labels and so on..

I guess it might be a good idea for a new fresh thread about this and let this HUGE one die in peace.. people are reposting about 90% of aliases already in the list because they read only the first few pages. The list hasn't been updated since 08/2003.. due to me being too busy and absent minded to do it or just lazy, dunno. I'll see what i can do anytime soon, need to gather all the info to be updated/corrected and add them to the list.

A list of Corsten's aliases (about) in Aug '03 can be found in the TA Aliases list HERE. There are still lots of errors and missing aliases in the whole list/database but hopefully i can come up with an update soon. The list can also be downloaded from the same site.. if the link is still up. I have the aug '03 list as a zippped .doc file (about 85 pages) somewhere on my comp if you can't find it.

I doubt it unless someone has done a more recent update.. i know i haven't and i'm not capable of doing it anytime too soon... as i'm at home like a few hours a week and then doing something like that isn't at the top of my priorities. I'll see what i can do.

HAHA! The alias list page has needed an update for about 2 years now but for some reason i haven't managed to do anything with it.

Don't believe the first x pages of this thread.. they are wrong at many parts. I'm in the works of an updated when i get it sorted sometimes during the next decade.

Yes, PvD worked only on the Love Mix, with Humate himself aka Gerret Frerichs. At that time the Humate project consisted of Gerret as already said, Hans-Georg Schmidt who was his partner-in-crime in the studio and Oliver 'Kay Cee' Huntemann. Soon after Oliver left the team and funnily enough, later on he ended up to release his own remake of Love Stimulation, which Gerret remixed to a 10min epic beauty. PvD wanted to rebuild his Love Mix in '98 mainly because he didn't like how Kay Cee ripped off his Love Mix.. also at that time Oliver Lieb and Blank & Jones remixes got released.

I'm surprised that nobody knows PvD's real name. quite a secret. or is here anybody who knows?

(but keep the secret. i'm not interested and otherwise PvD'll get lots of calls in Berlin lol lol)

These already are on the list. And Bedrock is ONLY John & Nick, has always been so. I have said a million times but people don't post anything by just looking the first page(s) of this thread as it's a total mess just because everyone posts the same aliases several times. I'm working on an update when i have actually time (dunno when, not too soon) but it'll take while so don't post unless you are 100% sure it's new and not posted yet.

Yep, it is the same guy. d-miurge seems to be a bit mixed up there.. and General Midi is Paul Crossman's solo project, Alex is not part of it.

You must be referring to the list in the first pages.. It doesn't say that in the current (Sep/2003) list. it says Mario Piperno = Mario Piu/Mas/DJ Arabesque/..

Yes I was referring to the list @ the first page. Was it ever updated? Where is the latest list of aliases? Thanks
