Mic Burns returns to Confi-Dance
Its been a while since Mic Burns kicked off our label with his massive track "Greedy Planet" under his Blue Haze guise, now he's set for an equally big return with the awesome "We Feel" and our 6th release. A big package is lined up with Gazor doing a breaks re-rub and Mic himself reworking the original for a new 2005 remix! Bonus remixes will be available for download with the full release. More details to follow.

Zo bedoelde ik het niet, zit al een tijdje op de promo cdr mailing list van Lost Language, maar ik ga het niet meer vernieuwen, meestal vind ik de tracks toch te fluffy

His prolific productions have garnered international attention and are propelling him into America's future DJ star. He is now poised for his official coming out party with his debut artist album 'Homegrown' on FDS Recordings.
'Homegrown' is an amalgamation of Steve Porter's various unique styles and melodic nuances. The expertly mixed album brings together 14 original tracks, some of which have already garnered wide attention with inclusion of the tracks on numerous high-profile dance music labels & compilations including 'Vodka Cranberries' on hot new label Nu Republic, 'Definite Form' on Sander Kleinenberg's Little Mountain Records and included on his recent Everybody CD for Renaissance, and most recently, the track 'Swanky' has been included on �ber-cool Felix da Housecat's upcoming Playboy: The Mansion compilation.
Once in a blue moon there comes along a prodigy that is noticed by the big guns and whose talent catapults them onto the world stage. From Boston to New York, Steve Porter has evolved from record store clerk to New England rave DJ to landing on the roster at one of the most prestigious booking agencies in the world. Steve Porter was discovered by Chris Fortier when Chris heard a CDR of his productions in 1999, and Chris quickly brought him into the Fade Records fold. Soon thereafter, Steve was signed as the youngest member to join The Collective Agency; home to Sasha, U.N.K.L.E., Lee Burridge and James Zabiela. He began touring across the U.S., Canada, South America, Australia, Asia and Europe and has played alongside Sasha on the Airdrawndagger & Involver North American tours, Sander Kleinenberg on the Essential Mix Tour and also headlining a hectic schedule of national and international DJ dates.
Over the last six years, Porterhouse (n�e Porter's House) has amassed a collection of over 50 singles and 28 remixes under his name and the many aliases (Agent 001, HDF & Bons) used to suit the mood of the song. His myriad of tracks have been dominating dancefloors globally with Porterhouse finding its way into the record boxes of everyone from Sasha, Lee Burridge, Derrick Carter, Carl Cox, Sander Kleinenberg, Mark Farina and Paul van Dyk, and he is currently in the 4th year of a residency at Rise, the long-running and only afterhours club in Boston.
His sound is known to his fans as "Porterhouse", an eclectic range of funked-up house beats with a techy-edge and twisted jams induced by his own re-edits and mixes that molds his DJ sets. When Steve walks into a record store he examines every genre, picking the top gems from Disco to Techno to Trance and everything in between. The essence of Porterhouse brings the energetic action to the dancefloor where the warm, funky basslines and cool percussion melt away any chin stroking pretensions and the resonating guitar & piano hooks lure you into an eternal groove. Make no mistake, Porterhouse is party house.
The album will be available as an early exclusive download on iTunes, Beatport.com, Napster, MusicNet (AOL), Virgin Digital, MSN Music, and other fine digital music stores from January 28th 2005, and the cd version will follow shortly thereafter on FDS Recordings.

Weet je wat mij irriteert aan de Aurium sets? Er zitten altijd zo'n fluffy toestanden bij waarvan ik zoiets heb van "naaaaaaaaaah toch niet".
De sets van Shiloh zijn anders wel goed (behalve dat 'Find' in eentje voorkomt )
