I agree about Mclaren being a chump who needs to get booted but not picking Carragher when he had no injury problems at the back was one of his smarter decisions.

Carragher only does well for Liverpool because he loves the club and seems to be twice the player that he actually is at Liverpool as compared to when he plays for England.

sorry mate i meant champions , yes u can say that gain about Chelsea, i still can't believe that ref, he just about carded both teams in last 20 mins , most of chelsea's midfilders/defenders were getting P***ed, we were so lucky to get a draw

i think chelsea are looking like the best team at the minute and then liverpool

heh we've got that too. Was another instance this weekend too. Technology is available now, and you have to wonder how long it'll be before it's used.

in the last few international tournmaents anyway...and certainly on any team fucking Sven assembled. This is going a bit farther back, but the 1990 and 1996 teams that lost to Germany in the World Cup and Euro semis did England very proud, as did the 86 WC team that got fucked over huge. Those teams were legitimate contenders, although since the 2000 Euro and probably the 98 WC, the teams have been lacking in players fit and on form.

And by the way...I don't much care for Sven but good on him for sticking it to United this weekend past!
