they're shit. What people don't understand is that there are hundreds of professionals who've been mixing to crowds for years with much more talent than these producers who happen to have internet radio shows and rate higher for that reason alone.

I'm sorry, but stop whineing because ppl don't have the same tastes as you... just becasue 1 person likes the top 5 artists in the list, adn u don't, doesn't make them an automatic n00b.

once again...for the millionth time...the fact that you like their tracks surrender and satelite or anything else doesn't mean they should be 5th in a DJ poll...

what don't you people understand about that? is it really that hard of a concept to understand? i could care less if you like above and beyond as artists as i'm sure most of the people arguing would say...you listen to whatever your little heart desires,

BUT

just because you enjoy someone's productions doesn't mean they are the 5th best DJ in the world...

i think maybe like two people have actually given a valid reason why they think above & beyond should be in the top 10. at least say something like you enjoy their radioshow or something.

god it's like trying to have an intelligent discussion with 5 year olds...i'm done with MD...really a waste of time...

If my memory serves me right, the poll said i could vote for any producer/group/artist... etc. etc. etc.

.....

and that's what i did.

AWESOME!

I think the list is very realistic!

AvB = the best radio show + one of the best parties
PvD = a living legend + had an awesome party season in 2005
Tiesto = a living legend rocking on his concerts
Ferry = another living legend... awesome parties
A&B = not many parties, but TATW kicks ass!

www.thedjlist.com should be replaced with something like thiS!

Hmmm.. I dont think their pointing system is very realistic. This list is voded only by people, where their list is made mainly scoring and voting afterwards.

I agree that A&B arent top 5, not even close.
But dood, calm down, who fuckin cares?
You're REALLY letting this bother you WAY too much

I know what I like, and thats ALL that matters to me.
Just as u know what u like, thats ALL that should matter to you

Trouble is how can one have an intelligent conversation when ignorance abounds?

144. Mikey Mike
145. Chris Liberator

what a joke!!!

no way in hell mikey mike should be anywhere in the top 250 let alone ahead of chris liberator.

this is completely laughable. anyone who voted for him in the djmag poll...what a complete waste of vote!

I actually voted for Mike and the rest of mine went to people like Boomer, Clovis, and Ian. I don't support popularity polls, and this kinda shows that it's all about "who has the bigger name" not who's literally better.

But debating that is like trying to stomp on freshly-squeezed roadkill; it's already been done.

Hmmmm, maybe a crazy idea, but ever thought of maybe just not casting a vote?

and a question, how is it that Christopher Lawrence in only at #38 on the TA poll, and #73 on TheDJlist poll, yet he is in the top 10 in DJ mag. Where the hell did all his votes come from to get him that high in DJ mag?

Things that make you go Hmmm.

Either that, or the fact that Schmulz ended up 115 places above Laurent Garnier.
