Yep, I'm sure free agents will want to go to Boston in 4 years time when Allen, Pierce, and KG are 110 years old and haven't won a damn thing. Better to jump with those old farts then it would be to rise and win multiple championships with Roy and Aldridge for a much longer window.

well we all know the East is a pile of shit compared to the west... but thats even more reason to come on over... "yea, i'd rather finish 3rd from the bottom in the west, when I could have made the playoffs with the same record in the east" Its a no brainer... you take the playoffs every year, over NOT making them in the west... come on!

Celtics, Cavs, Heat and Detroit..to be fair, there are only 4 good teams in the West too. I think the Celts have a great chance of winning the east. They will def beat the Cavs for it.

Only thing you keep forgetting is that those rookies won't be free agents for 4 more years. If they were even free agents which they won't be. At that time, Duncan is like 210 years old. Nash is 156. Those powers won't be powers anymore unless they pull off some bold other moves. Then...it will others teams turns meaning those teams like PORTLAND baby. Or Utah or someone. Celtics will be long washed up then too.

True, didn't think about that...

BUT!!!!!!!

You'll still have Cuban and the Mavs, and you know he'll be hunting for the Arenas' and the Wades' and the JAMES' of the world when Dirk and Co. go down the shitters... and I'm going to guess the rest of the West teams will to, except the Spurs... they'll keep drafting International guys until they have NO Americans in their roster....

and yes the C's will be back to shit in 5 years, but I don't really care....

THE only thing I'm sad about.... is the C's won't have a shot at Dr. Roy Hibbert now... which... with my luck, the friggen Blazers will probably draft him or some other West team... cause that would just be fitting...

The international guys have more heart.

Like Dirk Nowitzki? lol yeah right. Michael Jordan had more heart than everybody combined. It matters on the person, not where they are from.

Posted by Zild on Aug-11-2007 18:27:

I was talking about only Spurs international players. Dirk sucks ass.

Spurz make watching paint dry more interesting.

watching the blazers during the early 21st century is like watching a drive by shooting in compton.

Yeah there's a reason why there is shows like Cops, when Sharks attack, etc. Because it's interesting. Spurz aren't.

As much as I hate the Blazers, I'd rather watch them instead of the Spurs any day of the week!!!

Posted by Zild on Aug-11-2007 22:48:

If that is all you have against the incredible San Antonio Spurs I don't even have to make a counter argument. The only thing that matters is winning championships.

Spurz fans always say that. Us 99.7% that follow the NBA that don't like the Spurzzz think differently.

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Aug-12-2007 02:43:

now if the spurs came out with this type of attitude .......

you wouldn't be talking about the spurs like this .......

You must be confusing heart with flopping ability again.

flopping is an art. manu ginobli went to the Academy of the Arts to perfect his acting skills. However, Anderson Varejeo picked up his flopping skills while styling his fro in some street alley in brazil.

Posted by shaw on Aug-12-2007 16:50:

Varejo seems more Divacesque to me. It's dramatic, but not too smooth. Nocioni is one of the best international guys at it, imo, mainly because he's flying all over the place & going crazy all the time anyway. Seeing a guy get knocked to the ground doesn't seem so cheesy when he just dove into the scorer's table, then sprinted back to rip a ball out of somebody's hands, and is already bleeding in 20 places. Then again, that doesn't seem to work for Heinrich. It must be the crazed yelling.

Guess what. Spurs fans don't give a fuck. We care about those rings. Not what all the other whiny bitch fans of loser teams care about.
