Why has Rauhofer's name been dropped only once during the past 70+ pages? Is nobody else playing twister by themselves in raw anticipation? Is it becuase he only plays gay clubs in town? Or is it that his beats make your ass a total slut? Bueller? Paix.

In all honesty it probably has to do with this.

It's weird, before I moved to Montreal I didn't really have a concept of gay crowd/straight crowd and electronic music. Sure I knew the history of house and techno, but never really saw that in practice. I supposed I was never really in a city for long enough that had an edm scene to be split up by sexual preference or gay crowd large enough to support a proper electronic music scene.


I really don't like how in Montreal there are "gay crowd djs"... I listen to a Calderone CD and I don't think, "ahh, I bet the gays love him"... But then you go to one of his parties and you can barely move in Stereo and all you see is shirtless men and it's so obvious what's what here.



As for the lack of Rauhofer support, it's wack. He rocks.

nah, i just asked droolin' eddy and he said it was because rauhofer makes you do horrible things with your body. i can't fucking wait. and yes, it is kind of a pain in the ass that he only plays "pas des filles" nights at parking but with his syrupy love sauce, he can go ahead and play wherever he wants. paix.

it's funny u say that cause I was talking a friend of mine who used to party from the mid 90's to 2000 and when I mentioned Victor Calderone...he said his parties always always had a strong following in the gay community whether he was in Montreal or NYC. Nothing wrong with it. Just facts.

I never saw second sun...but my friends did at Resolution and really enjoyed them

They should make a private dancefloor for TA's in the Trance room so we can all meet and party hard. loll

Second Sun is pouri imo...

it's not that second sun is bad it is mor like they ruin the flow of things. they are probably good on their own and probably opening but to put them in the middle brings me down. ask yankeebaby...we sat next to each other doing absolutely nothing for 60+min...my only motivation to move was to get a drink before the bar closed

I think they're garbage! I'd rather see DJ Marcus open up the night.

haha soo right. and putting them after a BANGING svd set was shitty. Their tempo is a bit too slow to be second! They would be fine starting because they are live, get peoples attention and start off at a slower tempo than others.

but imo, I would rather listen to them in a lounge on a couch while chillin with a martini than at a massive.
