Hurricanes are making noise in the east now, lots of good teams I wouldnt want to see in the first round
East>West
Detroit eeked one out against the wild. Sharks need to win tonight. Ducks might lock a playoff spot with a win.

are you shitting yourself yet sean5?
hahaha you still think wade redden is good...*points*
Jay if I'm right, does it mean that if things ended right now, Caps would play Habs?
yes.
i would like this very much too. Caps or Bruins in the first round are our best shot. I don't respect Theo and his propecia use
I want NYR or Pittsburgh.
i think the most entertaining for fans would be
bruins vs habs (huge rivalry)
devils vs rangers (huge rivalry)
caps vs pens (crosby vs ovy)
canes vs flyers (who cares about either team
)
i don't think these match ups will happen though, and new york has a tough schedule and is not really playing all too great right now. Florida is playing desperate hockey and they look like they want it more. I think they might squeak in, although no one gives a fuck about this team, especially in Miami. It should be an interesting finish. In the west go blues! I would love to see them back in the playoffs!

read the thread from the beginning lol, the argument was pretty epic.
Man Ottawa must have been kicking themselves when they decided to chose him over Chara back in the day. It was the beginning of the end for them
yeah, screw the preds
who seriously cares about hockey in nashville
st. louis has been out of it the whole season, for them to make it in would be amazing
schneider gone for the year, markov for 3 weeks.
get those golf clubs ready boys
habs do not have a chance in hell anymore

That sabres loss killed them
I'd much rather see buffalo grab the eight spot than the rangers or florida
we are so fucked without markov and schneider
i still hope we win tomorrow so sean gets mad.
That Chara incident was pretty epic indeed, but I'd say that the biggest screw-up of the century was when Bos practically gave Thornton away.
How many points has he scored for SJ since he joined them, 100? 200? 300?!
that turned out to be a good trade for both teams.
sure it didn't look like it at first, but the result ended them (bruins) getting Chuck Kobasew and Andrew Ference and they still have Marco Strum.
Thornton never did shit for boston, and until he actually does not disapear in the playoffs, he has not done anything for san jose (yet).
Both teams are at the top of the league right now, did it really hurt the bruins that much?
worst trade ever = Patrick Roy and Mike Keane for Jocelyn Thibault, Martin Rucinsky, and Andrei Kovalenko.
now that was a bonehead trade that crippled a franchise for a long time

which was useless in an era with no shootouts...he fucking sucked
True.
I remember an age-old Finland vs. Russia game that went to the shoot-outs, he must have scored like 5 times in a row he did.
which is more than i can remember him scoring for montreal in the time he was here (ok, not really, but he was way to soft to play in the rough clutch and grab nhl of that era.)
^you guys can clinch tonight right?
not likely lol, fuck you sean!
I've never seen the Rangers play this good/Habs get dominated so badly until tonight
we are not going anywhere with these injuries, dont get your hopes up.
both our teams suck.
didn't get to watch it, but hopefully they will have a repeat performance on thursday.
