The problem is all the cool stuff is business class and above. Aus to EU is prohibitively expensive.

I was on the very first couple of A380s within the first couple of months that they launched with Singapore Air. Syd to Sing, Sing to London and then Sing to Syd. Doing Syd-Sing and Sing-Syd in less than three weeks again.

They are mighty machines but at the end of the day it's all the same shit inside. Singapore has the best interior on all of their planes so the 777 or A380 in economy makes no difference.

Give me a fast plane any day.

I just secured my seats next month to Europe. Booked the top deck of the A380 in exit rows on the SYD-SIN-SYD route

On a related note, my bf and I are going to visit my sister and her bf in Vancouver in August. We're getting picked up from the airport in a limousine.

For the seats? An extra US$50 per leg, so an extra US$150 (AUD$135 or so) for three legs since I didn't book the Singapore to Sydney return journey in an exit row.

About a day. I leave Syd at 3:15pm on a Saturday and I arrive in Split at 3:25pm on Sunday. Obviously travel time there is over 24 hours due to time differences.
This is like my 7th time around the world, you get used to it.

That's not too bad actually. Zagreb-Split takes 45 minutes(), and considering Sydney is literally on the opposite side of the globe, with switching planes it's not as terrible as I expected.


But still, ~3.5 hours via car from Zagreb to Vodice is just far too much for me, and it pisses me off..

You saying I can only have the notion of having money to burn when I make it myself (ignoring the fact that I have been making money myself the last 5 years in some form or another) is fucking retarded when you have multiple times chastised me for being spoiled and not having any notion on the value of money...

So which is it, I don't understand the value of money because I don't spend it like I have money to burn, or I don't understand the value of money because I am spoiled? Because both of those, to me at least, seem diametrically opposed (just a wee bit).

Because you don't earn your own fucking living and instead live off your parents' money/support. Being spoiled is exactly why you don't understand what it's like to TRULY have money to burn. It's a lot different when it's your own money and you've worked hard for it and used it to FULLY support oneself - not just pay some shitty bills at mom and dad's. God you're such a waste.

I'd say you make bad financial decisions. In this market you should never have money to burn. You should be saving for retirement (or at least a large fund for if you lose your job and can't get one for a while, like a long while).

What I did when I had extra cash was invest it. When I was working I put 10% into my 401k and most spare money I had I invested (and have done pretty well on those investments).

Money to burn... psh, no such thing.

I have plenty of savings AND money to burn. Fucking idiot.
