Well put. Different folks, different strokes.

Personally, most techno sets do nothing for me unless I'm on drugs, but hey, that's just one wanker's opinion.

PVD was bitching at the pioneer CD/turntable (i don't know how its called), he was so mad, I couldn't believe my eyes.

PVD redefined the term "special dj" as I tought it applied only to Sasha

Why, what did Sasha do? He needed customized turntable or something?

Maroush is the Schwarma nazi

I remember my buddy asked for no garlic, so they put 2x time amount on. hahaha

One time I went there to get my friend, and he's like "what do you want"? I told him that I wanted nothing. So he says "GET OUT!!! COME BACK... TWO YEARS" (granted he was just joking) hahaha

I love it when they get all the clubers after the clubs close and they all dance on the counters. Using the counters as risers, that's real nice! All the good nutrients off people's shoes are left on the counter so the shwarma can taste all that much better.

Ohhh lala!!!
What a beautefull night, , It's been such a long time since i went to the party and didn't feel that there was something missing. The most things that i enjoyed last night was:
-music(preach rocked, pvd was unbelievable-even if he was a bit a preak as i understand,marko-g was not so good)
-many, many good friends around
-my little sister came with me
-many smiling people(music lovers)less fu..ed up people(drugs)which is good too sometimes
-cute girls very cute girls
-nice atmosphere
-met many TA's

Sweet night , one of my best

Posted by ACA2000 on Apr-19-2003 15:23:

one thing i have to agree with was there was a LOT of hot girls there!!!!

Curiously enough, a similar incident(CD player stopped working) happened to Tiesto in Toronto on Dec. 14th. At one point his CD player simply stopped working, music stopped, Tiesto sweared off and quickly put on a different track. He never got as mad as PVD(even though in Tiesto's case it was the equipment that failed), or at least didn't show it.. At the end of the night he still fucked us over though and only played 3 hours instead of promised 5.

It's sucks that big name DJs can afford such behaviour, but I guess there's nothing we can do, so we'll just have to live with it.

yaz didnt play on friday...

but when he plays we always enjoy it

hes good to pump the crowd before the main event

Posted by alec on Apr-19-2003 16:58:

Anybody out there play sports or knows someone who does. Somepeople get too too competetive and intense about what they're doing. If they suck or get frustrated, quite often these people just quit out of frustration. Perhaps PVD is one of those people.

Another cool thing is PVD's stance on drugs, its great that PVD says its cool to go out and not do them. One of his peeps was wearing a D.A.R.E. not to do drugs shirt. It's good to see some people still have some morals.

Posted by Czaoth on Apr-19-2003 17:49:

was it crowded for PVD? I'm wondering if the 1800 people max rule was in effect as promised.

Posted by rongerabbit on Apr-19-2003 17:58:

There was 1700 people, but the hiphop room was closed.

all that rhetoric and yet he plays at clubs like exit and sound factory which are basically nacarcotic supermarkets.. wholesale extacy with house dealers for added convenience. Iv always believed people speak louder with their actions.

ya man he kept his word.. it was perfect. I mean I really expected it to be a chinese fish tank.. I thought it would be another oakenfold or tiesto. But it was perfect and the ventilation more than held up.

Posted by kate on Apr-19-2003 20:09:

I guess I'm a total pussy and spoiled cause I still found it way too hot and crowded... but maybe it seems worse when you're 5'3 and surrounded by really really tall people who block the airflow.

maybe its just me and my immagination.. its just that I have been to alot worse

Posted by mastercongo on Apr-19-2003 20:19:

it was ok. with tiesto you could not even walk around. there was no space. and no clean air. not even on the seats close to the bathroom. it was hot the same. tiesto night was just a mess. but very good set :P

You can't preach to the converted. Maybe that's why he plays those clubs?

kate the best spot for you is on the tables (those behind the booth) , lots of fresh air when you're taller than other people
