both are great, but tiesto crates more energy in his sets although armin's mixes are better

Armin!

As a DJ, Transparance is the best trance mix ever. The transition from Mindcircus to Flow Emotion is amazing. Flow Emotion starts 2 to 3 minutes into the end of Mindcircus, and the Mindcircus vocals are swapped back and forth with Flow Emotion after the latter track has been fully pumped out for about a minute.

Armin is also really gets into his music when he DJs and will come out and dance with the crowd.

As a producer, his massive hits and remixes just at age 26 says something about his skill. Sound of Goodbye, Dust/Dub.wav, Aria - Dido (11 minute epic).

Tiesto can't come close. IMO Tiesto doesn't know how to produce anything progressive. Each time I hear his track I expect an uplifting or extremely melodic track. While that's all good and well, if I want to listen to something that flows for an hour I can only chose Armin. Armin does both progressive and uplifting very well.

I�ve seen Tiesto live moving 5000+ people, going insane. I�ve seen Armin slammin� crazy in Chicago. They both got skills. What I noticed that Armin is more personable then Tiesto. He interacts with people better.

i think they're both really good...some of armin's stuff can be harder than tiesto's which is good...so it's hard to choose who's the best...

Man has this guy got character, after playing his set from sensation hops on a plane flys halfway across the planet rests in his hotel for a few hours gets up goes to eat dinner with a few trance addicts then ROCKS the house in calgary!! What more can u say the guy loves his job and is the best crowd pleaser out there its not just a good time when u go to armin its an experience!!! armin all the way

ps ive been to tiesto aswell wicked dj just doesnt work the crowd quite like armin... i love both of there track selections just a bigger armin fan..

TOUGH TOUGH TOUGH choice!!

My fave has always been tiesto, if it wasn't for his music I wouldn't even have gotten into the whole "dance scene"... However I find that each of his sets are starting to sound too much alike... For example, if you're going to see him next week you could just listen to a liveset from last week and TA-DA! and that disappoints me....

Armin however still plays pure trance... the kind that tiesto used to play that takes you on a journey... So although Tiesto is still my favorite, I wonder how long it'll be before my favorite is Armin... because he just spins the kind of music that fills my heart with joy and gives me goosebumps all over

One vote for Armin.

It is funny, because last year i have prefered Tiesto. But nowadays if i listen an Armin mix i prefer 80% of the song, but in case of Tiesto just only 50% of them.

Also think about their mixing technic. Everyone agree that Tiesto is more like "show-man", but he is very bad mixer.

why , maybe becouse i havent heard alot of armins mixes..only one or two but i have tons of tiesto stuff , i just love it , maybe realy armin is better , but my oppinion is that tiesto is still better

Haha well i say armin is very good, but until he can come out with a trance energy 2000 or magic 6 mix, he aint got shit to say. Plus tiesto is much more diverse, going deep into tech trance at times and sounding almost housey at other times. The man knows a crowd and what they want to hear, and his mixing is on another level. Until armin takes it to that level, ti-es-to, ti-es-to, TI-ES-TO!!! TI-ES-TO!!!
