rave music: Fluke - Zion

I agree with you. The history seems, at the beginning, very simple until the last revelation who was really AMAZING! I love that idea of the Arc****** anyway the action scene were very good ( i.e : Neo Vs Agent(s) Smith aka burly brawl or the chase on the freeway )

I am not disappointed 'cos the story ( the cliffangher ending ) isn't what everyone was expecting

i give it a 17/20 ( maybe more after Revolutions. The teaser was fucking good and too short )

Posted by AnotherWay83 on May-17-2003 09:01:

heh thanks for the track ID...i remember seeing that name in the credits cos i stuck around but there were a whole bunch of track names that they listed...and it sucked that the revolutions teaser was so damn short...but oh well, cant wait till november

SPOILERS!!

Thanks for the transcript of that Architect dialogue, Dj Dovla. I wanted to read it in detail but couldn't find it anywhere.

I don't quite understand the choice he was given by the Architect. I mean, I understand one would result in the "extinction of the human species" and the other not, but what with the rebuilding of Zion offered? Wouldn't they know at that point that the One was part of a cycle and that rebuilding Zion would only result in its destruction again?

And what about Neo stopping the machines outside of the Matrix?

All I can say is that Revolutions has some questions to answer. How on earth can they triumph with Zion gone?

Overall I have mixed reactions. I personally thought the Agent Smith fight scenes were too much (whereas the highway scene was great), and the action seemed too disjointed with the monologues and philosophy. However the Architect scene saved it; a brilliant change of direction from what you expect.

we got free passes cause some kid pointed a laser pointer a few times at the screen
and we were like
we couldnt watch the movie at all!!!
anywayz

its pretty stupid how all the agents and neo get punched and kicked in the face and the glasses dont fall off..
hehe pretty funny

and they all wear glasses because its hard to animate eyes..especialy for the fight scenes

Posted by eye_03 on May-17-2003 19:31:

OKAY, the movie was great for special effects and fight scenes... although there were some times, that were just pointless

morpheus: uhh yeah, im doing a speech in zion. hey, we are all cool. lets party

all others: yeah

*start a huge orgy in the cave*

wtf is this?

Posted by eye_03 on May-17-2003 19:33:

oh yeah, what song was playing during the highway scene(s) ?
damn, it was good

Posted by Duke2003 on May-17-2003 21:16:

even though i can't really decide if this one was better than it's predecessor it's still a f*cking good movie!!! the music rocks again, the action scenes are supreme and the plot is ok too! the cliffhanger didn't frustrate me at all, it was a logical point to stop. still, the unexpectancy the first matrix had is gone now

That means Neo is the "ONE" since he can control things in and out of the matrix now. So now zion has a chance agaisnt the machines, and in someway what the oracle told Morpheus was correct but they put all this together in "revolutions"

Wrong. There was an Oakey tune before the Highway scene when they were in the car parking lot, but it was different from Dread Rock.

The one playing on the highway scene was Juno Reactor vs Don Davis - Mona Lisa

Its on the Soundtrack.

Yeeah that song that sounded like CJ Bolland - THe prophet or something, I don't know, it sounded sooo like it... and yeah since Oakenfold is the closest thing to that. Sucked that it was very short though ( when the cadillac was getting out the parking lot, that's the song Im talking about. ).

W0W, awesome movie!!!!!
Can you say sensory overload?!?!

During the opening sequence I realized I wasn't even blinking.
I had to pick my jaw up off the floor a few times.
There's soooooo much to take in...
It's refreshing that a movie can make you think, especially an action movie.

One little thing though, a few part of the movie didn't seem cohesive, like there were a few scenes left out.
Sort of like in the first movie, when I saw the fight scene in the bathroom with Morpheus and Smith.
I knew something was missing an of course after seeing The Matrix Revisited I found out the scene was supposed to be way longer but Lawrence Fishburn couldn't do more of the fighting scene.

Anyway, going to go see it again (several more times)
An to think the best one yet is still to come...

p.s. the Zion track is awesome

the key to the movie is the architect

Posted by djSlain on May-19-2003 02:24:

in Dogma, the leader is Alanis Morrissette
in Bruce Almighty, the leader is Morgan Freedman
but matrix has colonel sanders? no sense
