Originally posted by DJ El Kay Dee wildon is the most decieving show... honestly tell me which clubs u frequent. we may all say that it was the best night ever cos we dont want to offend the DJs that spent time and effort doing their best ont he decks jsut to entertain us. i wasnt there at the second party but system isnt my cup of tea as well yet i would go there anytime jsut to support talent i know... if u had some constructive criticism, there are ways o saying it without being harsh about it. everyone is open to criticism

Originally posted by glog for sure what i said was harsh... no doubt that every DJ out there is putting great effort into the magic of their music... but i still brought up some good point an no, i don't fancy system much either, and no... clubs like those in wild on don't exist... except in my head... it was an exaggeration... but it still doesn't change the fact that friday night was 'just average' to me, and i'm not afraid of saying it an event like this at... let say for argument sake, guv (great venue!) with blasting bass, flashing lights, and a lot more people would have made the night a hundred times better.... i think these are all reasonable demands that would classify a night as being extraordinary...

Originally posted by NightCreature Hmm.... This maybe true. However, personally I based my judgment on other events like Tiesto @ Aria, Talla @ Viva, Armin @ Guverment, Corsten @ Guvernment, etc... When writing my review I consider such factors as 1) Free entrance into Systems! 2) great crowed, mostly TAs! 3) Room to dance! 4) Amazing DJ sets! etc... During that night systems was a fun, clean dance environment with great people and awesome music. If picking up was your main priority then maybe you should have gone to another club?

Originally posted by glog and secondly, to me it was a bit too much room to dance i like going to clubs when you can't even walk through the crowd... when you have to stop every once in a while because you are running out of air... where you cant hear the person next to you but you are so close to them that you feel like a sardine

(Don't get me wrong, I know it was for all to enjoy - rightfully so.)
I'm not telling you to change, but rathing encouraging you to get a taste of our (TA's) vibe. If you catch the bug, you'll understand all this babble of mine quite well.

GLOG:
I have to admit that the sound in the VIP room was horrid. It was so loud with no bass that it ended up giving me a headache.
2nd, this was a tranceaddict event, which does not necessarily mean trance music was played. I don't know about all the sets played after 1am, but before that there was NO trance played at all.
3rd, this event put on so that tranceaddict DJs can have a chance to spin in front of a crowd. Many are still ruff around the edges, hence the bad mixing at times. But don't go and compare bedroom DJs to a Tiesto at the Docks; it's like comparing apples and oranges. Both shows have different purposes.
4th, if you were primarliy concerned with having 'beautiful' people surrounding you I think you were at the wrong club Friday night. You should have been at the club across the street, Plastique. System's is not about looks, its about having a good time and meeting people you have something in common with and of course the music!
I suggest you check out a true trance party before you judge the TOTA's. Come by Afterlife on July 24 or better yet Viva on Aug 8 and you'll see what a real party is all about.

Originally posted by charmscars ... but anyway, it shows a tremendous lack of gratitude for you to be bitching about the night and comparing it to expensive productions like Tiesto, when john works his ass off to put on a night for us! so if you didn't enjoy yourself that's fine, agood number of us did and are grateful that we have a night just for us to socialize and support our own. that is all taraxo
