I would define the ultimate buildup as the one you play for your friend who isn't into trance to show him/her what a trance buildup is. Using that definition, clearly the best buildup ever has to be:

A.T.O.M.I.C.J.U.N.K.I.E.S - A.T.O.M.I.C.J.U.N.K.I.E.S I think it is called, but somebody nicked my entire CD collection from my car, it is a long time ago, perhaps 5yrs. ago, but i remember shrills coming down my spine, hairs on my body almost became static... dunno if i feel the same any longer, but it is the best build up/take off experience i've had

From new songs, Paul van Dyk vs Vega 4 - Time Of Our Lives (Paul van Dyk Remix) has a great buildup. Worked perfectly at LP.

Signum - Second Wave ....... big ass long buildup which makes me go

all tunes sed (havent looked thru em all properly tho mind) are excellent choices (specially MIKE/Push/etc related ones)
