also, let's sort out a lineup, so we're not having drunken brawls over control of the wheels.
Maybe start a dedicated thread for the DJs, where we can arrange equipment, lineup, and such?

okz. i've been here for a quite a bit.
and back in June my friends and I threw a kick ass pool party. we had like 65 ppl and we even kept the ratio to 60% gurlz and 40% guyz 
we did $10 cover and unlimited booze, we even had our own bartender
drivers were made to hand in their keys and the door man was in charge to see if the were ok to drive home.
we didnt have any fights or anything. just some underagers throwing up :P ...... anyways just be very organzied we had guest lists and shit.
so if u need party planning..... PM me

Sounds like a wicked plan, I would love to bring something a long (equipment wise) but I really don't have anything that's worth bringing.

In any case I am definitely in and volunteering count me in and let's keep this updated, I can put a sick sick set on...If anyone is interested I am scheduled to be spinning at under the sun cafe up in richmond hill on thursday (NOT TODAY)...on August 7th. It will be a free event and flyers should be out by now...

And Tha_broad I totally back you up on taking the keys away from everyone driving at the doors and keeping them somewhere only you can get to.(or someone not too drunk). lol
Guestlist will have to be a must for this party I think....or deal with the ppl that are really going to come through email or pm.

lol ok i wasnt planning on charging a cover...and i figure that people can provide their own alcohol....(an other herbal remedies
) ...leaving keys might be a good idea..we'll see about that one....for now...how about anybody that plans on coming email me their name...and how many people...and if ur bringing anything (equipment, etc.) oh and i would definitely suggest bringing folding chairs or whatever since i have a nice sized backyard and my patio furniture is limited (if theres anybody that would be able to lend me a set or some chairs or something for the day that would be GREAT!) but yea..ill start a general list....email me your ta name and ur real name and whatever else might be necessary info....email addy is [email protected] PLEASE make the subject houseparty so i know ur a TA and i can keep track easier..THANX!! Great Idea. I had thought about this earlier but i dont live in TO and my house is not a good idea for it.
Anyways, I would love to throw my hat in to spin. I got Tascam CD 302's which i can bring down. I also suggest talking to Mike Shcryer about spinning. His set at WEMF was wicked. Ill post my demo on here in a bit.

no, i think one main room is way more than enough.. the only struggle is that there gonna be wars on the decks.
hence the thread istarted: i don't want any DJ left out yet i don't want DJs to spin for 30 mins. that's like 5 tracks.
so i ask all the Djs to help me out to organize time slots and equipment. I also must stress that NOT all the DJs wanting to spin will be spinning since we just have too many DJs (i never beleived i would have ever said that but it's true)
