Is PVD confirmed on 11-14 @Roxy? I checked the website www.paulvandyk.de
and nothing there. I called Roxy and they told me that they don't have Nov. calendar yet and to call back the first week of oct. to find out anything new.

i just have this compulsion to repeatedly check the gig page and it always sucks to see the most important one come on and then disappear! to me, roxy is the most important one because it is the only six hour pvd set in america. a six hour set with pvd is unbeatable. ive had countless awesome experiences at other pvd events and they are great. but the six hour sets stand on their own level in terms of the "ride" and just straight up content. no one knows what pvd is all about unless they hear him rock it all night. because, the shorter sets are condensed into the big records in the box. the 6 hr sets are the all-encompassing house to trance to techno to just banging hard fucking music and back to signature pvd that make me come to new york from wherever i am!!

in other news, roxy needs to elevate their ceiling by 10 feet and they might call themselves a decent club! hehe.

oh, and about this being too mainstream....fuck that shit. you guys who have issues with things being advertised or marketed sound paranoid. i trust paul to stay true to himself. when the quality of the music does not suffer, its spread is healthy. it only means that good music is getting popular and hopefully knocking out some of that crap that's out there.

btw you heard about him playing cleveland on the 10th of october? you gonna come around or not ? or possibly do DC the night after?

I should be at the Clevo, DC dates. Then NYC Roxy.

But personnaly and I think more then one will agree I think it sucks that they're doing boston on wednesdays now! that's impossible for out of towners to do it.

And in regards to your comment about roxy, well I think it's the only club that can contain a pvd crowd, but all I see about that club is one big money making factory. It's not that great of a club. And yes it's so true what you're saying about the ceiling if only it was higher that would be awesome, that club could seriously rip, but with the size of the place + ceiling and all that ..... it would be HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEE. And don't forget it's also a concert hall/skate ring/club etc place .... hard to do something like that
