How is the Projects Going?

i wholeheartedly appreciate your good intentions and i understand your frustration about crappy djs on the decks and living large instead of you. however, i do not see the point of this project unless i'm missing something. in that case, please explain.

my advice for all bedroom djs is to be persistent on promoting yourselves in person in your local areas. bring a boombox with your mixed cd playing and try to get the organizer's attention if you have to. just be persistent and take it up the ass & kissing ass when it comes down to networking. that's the reality of this business and most businesses in reality. sooner or later your time will come. just be persistent!

last note for djs, be in an organizer's position and think what you would do to organize an awesome party that the crowd will remember for the times to come: organizers want the djs who can pull crowds so that they (the organizers) can earn alot of money. a no-namer dj will not bring a huge crowd no matter how good this dj may be. as a no-namer dj, you want to prove to the organizer that you can guarantee a decent amount of clubbers if not a huge crowd.

my two cents.

lol The Funnyest Post I have ever read... Did you read what you wrote? lol

I can only ask you one thing. Go Over this thread and read all the posts me and Ernie put in here... And if you dont want to participate which i dont think you would make in because i heard the Hardcore you play online Dont Participate... And yes we have been talking to big Organizations Promotional Groups Labels and many Other Organizations that are very interested in this Project. And its People like you that make everything very hard and annoying. We are putting a lot of work into this.. Many might not know but this isnt a Easy Task... And I would really recomend you to Think before you write or say anything in the future.. And please its enough stress already. Dont Post no more nonsense in here... The djs have nothing to lose in Participating into this project and on the other hand the reason we are gonna be very strict with the mixes and the djs is because of the Organizations we are working with asked us to. And believe me Good Tallent always counts and is always Appreciated.

AND THANK YOU ALL ONCE AGAIN FOR PARTICIPATING

Posted by djr-man on Oct-15-2003 07:02:

Maybe you didnt mean to sound negative but it did because 2 other djs imed me with a reminder to check your thread out and to them it looked very negative and very bad...
But i am happy that you dont have those intentions... First of all i didnt want to write who we are working with and dont want to because its part of the plan... And whoever wants to participate and loves doing what they are doing (djs) they will have no further questions like yours.. And you are very very wrong about the no name djs. The organizations we are working on first of all Are very big.. Have to say the biggest most successfull clubs in the world starting from USA to England to Germany to Holland... And they need good tallented djs. I can bet you on anything you are from around LA area. LA is one area that i dont like playing myself.. No Appreciation of music as Some other Cities such as Chicago, NY, Miami etc... but there are clubs that do bring the good tallent.. And believe me you dont need to be a name dj.. and when it comes to money as you said "u know many organizers of clubs and massive events who are willing to pay a high amount of money to book a no-namer bedroom dj?" Who said anything about High amount of money? Thats something you have to prove to yourself.. that you can do.. if you are a dj you have to know that... Not just any dj is highly payed... Recognition, Exposure and most deffenetely Name is what gets you to a Higher Pay. If you really think we are toying here about this you are very very wrong... but i see that your intentions were to understand more about the project. And truly if I were you I would pm or email rather than putting it on the thread... and we want people that care more about what they do more than what they will get out of this... I myself wish I could have seen such an opportunity like this when i was a HUNGRY FOR EXPOSURE kind of a dj. But never found it.. Had to do it the hard way... And its not cool to tell others you heard my mix and you thought I suck and that you are better than me or something... If you are good for you... Some people actually do respect me and get me the information when things are said about me... And One last thing I LIVE THIS MUSIC Its My Life..
Sorry if you took what i said the wrong way but when you have so much stress and someone tells you " do not see the point of this project unless i'm missing something. in that case, please explain." And yes that was your Opinion and I respect it. But sometimes some information is kept for many different reasons... And when this project is in Effect I can be 100 Percent many of the djs will be very very happy. Thats a Guarantee I can give right now..
And thank you for your concern
Hope no hard feelings... And sorry if I sounded kinda rough

thanks, djr-man. in the upload folder, i messed up first time I tried to upload. i realized that the mix was not mp3 and it was taking 6hours, so i cancelled it. please delete "hard trance mixed by dj aki" the correct ones are dj aki-hart trance and djaki progressive. im sorry for the inconvenience.
edit: if the mix is not full, please delete or let me know cause my upload got cut off and ended way too early(estimated time was 3 hrs each and it ended in 5 mins)
