If in the end, you're just too frustrated with it all, watch this: Uhmmm...
story time boys and girls grab a seat and join the circle..
i just feel like telling this story just cause of what igottaknow just said...well it was abt last year and i was pretty drunk at a club and i was started talking to this girl that i barely knew...well as i started talking to her i noticed what a putana she was...so i continued talking with her and she said something to me that was very very very offensive.. especially since i wasnt trying to pick her up or anything i was really pissed...so after she finished saying this she went to take a swing of her beer (very classy i know) so she lifted her beer to her mouth and bent her head back a bit...as she did this i put my hand underneath the bottom of the beer and tilted it till it was 90 degrees to the floor...the beer spilt all over her from head to toe, drenching her in Molson...she shreiked and was completly wet.. everyone in the vacinity were laughing there heads off as i walked away.... for the rest of the night i just had random ppl coming up to me to shake my hand...
moral of the story if ur gonna be a bitch ur gonna be treated like one....the end
ps i did feel bad doing it but who cares..2nd worst thing i ever did to a girl...
haha yeah...there have been times where I should have done stuff like that but didn't. Ah well.

You should have no problems meetin' women. Which brings me back to my original point. It sounds like you're a decent guy, that's the problem |

Yeah, the nice guy thing is a prob. Somehow niceguy = not datable (or fuckable for that matter). I think it's because I'm not aggressive. Used to be somewhat but now I could care less. lol
Vs
I don't really see it in that ^ one, but somewhat more in this one...
Kinda like BTG and Matt Damon...
I don't know if any of you guys have seen the new liquor commercial (I think it's for Smirnoff vodka or something, but I'm not sure... it's that "one part this, one part that, blah blah" slogan), but for those who haven't:
It shows a guy chatting up a girl in a bar, dancing with her and all, she starts making a total ass of herself... they leave the club together, flag down a cab, he opens the door for her, lets her in, then closes the door and sends her off with the cabbie.
That scene sorta sounds to me like how my elders describe human interaction in the 50s and 60s, before hollywood movies started brainwashing us with the whole "true love" thing... it's called "balls!" If you don't have some, get some! Yes, you want them... no, you don't need them, so start standing up for yourselves!
P.S. "Agressive" doesn't work much better than "Nice Guy" - you're looking for "confident."
P.P.S. Gotta hand it to you Vivid, that's some serious balls, if you really did it then I'm impressed.

Like most already said (I always come in late to a good thread) is that you'll meet people that you're supposed to meet. By "supposed to meet" I mean the people that you're destined to meet that will eventually lead you to the right person one way or another. I'mnot a big believer in anything, even fate, but I do believe that every experience you have with any person is there for a reason, so even if things go awry with one girl, it'll teach you what NOT TO DO the next time (remmeber, it's not always her fault, we do our share of bad as well bud) so just sit back, enjoy the ride, and don't worry about finding that person, they will find you (philosophically, and physically). Whatever the case, just hang in there, it can't be long before we all find what we're looking for
hah This thread picked up steam pretty nicely. A lot of frustrated guys on the board. As happy as I am with my gf, I still have to admit that women are the bane of my existence. Holy fawk.
The best advice I can contribute (aside from my earlier quote: "I COULD WRITE A BOOK") is that in time you will find someone who is right for you. Don't shape or mold who you are for someone who you think is right, but rather let time (and a dash of fate) bring that person to you.
It's odd, at many times during my life I've just known to stop looking for that certain person and to just enjoy being single. While other times, just as I thought something was missing, poof, lucky me has had that great girl show up. Off the record, some relationships have been nightmares, but ultimately take from all the bad experiences and spin them out of negative shit into positive. AKA Fate would have your cards dealt another way.
Whatever will be, will be. If it's wrong, it's wrong, if it's right, it's right.
I'm not here to glorify fate in the most extreme of cliches, but I can honestly say I've lived my life accordingly and have nothing but great fortune come my way. (knock on wood)
Anyone who knows me (outside of this board) might be rolling their eyes at me because I could come off as a hypocrite. Seeing as these last few months have been stormers in terms of relationship/love etc.
I'm the biggest suck / hopeless romantic (MALE) you will ever meet. And I can tell stories about fate for days. In the end, my words of advice are to "know thyself" (in the words of Plato) and to balance your life accordingly especially in terms of relationships and love.
ROLL THE DICE
End rant.
