Had to contribute to this. Remember Battle Chess? That game ruled because it actually had animations for when you took over a piece on the board.

might and magic? no no...Knights i think...bah what was it.

and I had a pc junior that came with joysticks that were sqaures with a red button and a black button, and there was a game called touchdown football where everyone was squares and so was the football it was just a smaller square.

thats like 1984 stuff.

rygar was an awesome game once you got into it. gameplay well ahead of the times.
anyone else remember 10 yard fight at the arcades?so simple yet so much fun. like moon patrol
