couple of days is extra long? bit harsh to suddenly say u cant trust them anymore... my orders from dancegrooves have been coming really fast thursday -> monday (im in australia) only problem being is the cost for shipping (bout $35USD) which means i cant order from them as much as id like to.

only place i avoid now is only-djs. my second order with them went missing and everytime i tried contacting them they started to help me then when i sent an email explaining what had happened they just ignored me. $160 i lost, never again.

oh and yeah shipping from uk stores has slowed down a bit lately for me as well.. only a day or two tho doesnt bother me much.

geez for all these shipping costs it would be easier to get final scratch and buy cds......smaller easier to ship probably and dont break as easily and if you cant get something on cd email the artist and buy it directly usaully you can find the small ones on TA ...and the big ones should be selling there stuff on cds anyway..

Some of the best tunes out there are only available on white labels. I don't know that I could give up vinyl, either. I love it too much.

I now have a problem again with DAncegrooves!!! For the third fucking time, I have to go through this shit!!!! Why the Fuck is FB Canada Express calling my house to tell me they have my order of records!!!! Now I have to go through this shit again!!! The problem was suppose to be fixed and Rapid Air with Fed Ex... FB CAnada shouldn't even have my records!!! Just change your shippers completely!!! This is bullshit!!!! I know from now on your store is not one to be trusted. It's bad enough you guys decide to ship my order 4 days after it was made and then charge me so much money for shipping that's suppose to be express, meanwhile, if I made an order with chemical-records.co.uk (who doesn't use express) it would've came to my house in the same time with no hassles at all. Try fixing the problem permanently!!!

What happend to dealing with FED EX in Canada, and if you stopped dealing with them then why the Fuck would you go back to FB Canada Express?????? This is the most expensive service I have EVER had to deal with. If you guys are still dealing with FED EX then tell them to get MY RECORDS from FB Canada Express immediately!!!

yea... i ordered from dancegrooves about a week ago, and my status on the website has remained at accepted and processed for the last 5 working days. even after writing an e-mail, i have not received one word of response from them. i'd like to know wuts going on and when my records are coming. this is wack.

I order from Only-DJs.com sometimes, but i use DHL, my order would come to my studio in 48hours. Pricey shipping, but if i need something fast I shop there.

I also shop at dancegrooves.com, not a bad source, I never had any problem with them since they changed carriers. I would get my order within 4 or 5 business days.

I have more problems with domestic shops than oversea shops.

Satellite records here in my hometown would take 1 week just to process my order and then another 3 days to ship to me. I am only 5 miles away. *they are ******* dorks*

Euromusicworld.com would take 2 to 3 weeks to process an order, they imports you order, would only prompt them to order from europe and what ever time they use to wait, you have to wait. OK never again this place.

All the places in the west coast like solidgrooves.com have some good stuff but they are not alway in new condition, the price they put up, i expect new vinyls. *can't trust them west coast shops*

Now which all leaves me back to the good people in the netherlands. I have to shop at dancegrooves and only-djs for now until i find a reliable source by home. I'm a weekly resident dj so I shop every week. Hope you all have better luck shopping...

I ordered from Only-DJ's for the first time this week. As many have mentioned before, the shipping costs are ball breakers, but I was quite desparate for the Scirocco - Scirocco
The time of delivery was outstanding though, I ordered on Monday afternoon and recieved them this morning [Thursday] and I'm in Australia too! Plus they gave me a few Only-DJ's stickers! w00t

just thought i'd bump this up a bit even tho my problems have all been resolved it seems like others are still having some hassles... please don't knock dancegrooves.com, they have been most helpful in this situation due to the fact that they have long time customers like myself (3yrs going strong!) and a lot of others, i have talked thru email and on the phone with Emiel and Andreas on many occasions especially during this ordeal and they have been most helpful!.. anyhow the last few orders i have gotten from dancegrooves have been fine, yes it does take a few extra days to process but that is dependant on stock as well.. i have gotten all the lastest shipments within a weeks time and i get charged about $12 for duty and stuff which is fine except for last time when i got charged $60 for duty cause someone at customs forgot to dot the price on the customs form.. charged me for 460 euro instead or 46.0 but fedex fixed that for me ... only-djs were pretty quick as well and i had no problems except the shipping costs are a lot higher than on dancegrooves... and juno has been fine too..

one last thing, i'd like to also comment again on the great service the crew at dancegrooves have been, they are almost like good friends to me since i have talked to them over the phone at many occasions to make changes to my orders and such, i also was greatful that they were even able to credit me back on orders that seems to be MIA and even tho they eventually appeared, they still let me keep them anyhow.. A+++ guys at dancegrooves!

having trouble with only-djs...

placed an order that with shipping was $300, but the USA customs wouldn't release the order until I paid $106...been attempting to get help from only-djs....

BUT HAVE GOTTEN NO HELP FROM THEIR SUPPORT LINE..!!!!!!!!!!!!i emailed pascal today and hopefully he will do something....otherwise i haven't heard anything from them in over 2 weeks...a complete joke

The website is awesome havent had a problem. When I check the status of my records on rapid air, it hasnt changed its still on the "airplane". It's been like that for for the last week. From reading all the replys in this thread, I've seen that its been a problem that supposedly got fixed. Isn't Fed Ex shipping them in Canada? Any advice from anyone would help on how ot go about this. Gonna email dancegrooves and see. Has this happend to anyone else recently. Hopefully I dont have to go to Toronto and pick them up thats a two hour drive and I dont drive. AHHH this is a headache.

Hey all, i think rapidair is messing things up again too cause i went to track my package from Dancegrooves and instead of it going to Edmonton, Alberta.. it is going to somewhere in the US???.. at the same time.. FB Canada Express calls my friends store (where i use to get my stuff shipped too but i changed the number to my work since then) what is going on???.. i am gonna have to wait til late to call dancegrooves and find out whats going on... :P

okay, i have figured out why my tracking number shows my shipment being sent to the US.. dancegrooves sent me the wrong tracking id.. they sent me 76164918 instead of 76164919 which is the correct one..

hey man, my shipment is in the same situation as yers on the tracking site, they are probably at FB Canada Express since i got a call from them today.. the number is 19056120029, ask to speak to the manager, not the warehouse guy... they should be able to deal with the problems.. if they cant then email Emiel or Andreas, they should be able to contact Vincent, whom is in charge of the rapidair stuff... i will call Andreas tonight and i'll mention your situation as well.. please be patient...

wow, maybe it seems that i just got lucky...

i ordered from dancegrooves a month ago, and they used rapid air to send it to me, the records got here in 4 days at my doorstep... my sis signed for it. i was asleep, they came at freaking 8am, who the fuck delivers a package to a residence at 8 in the freaking morning... i had ordered a whole bunch of stuff from them... i didn't have to pay any extra fees or anything either...and they actually delivered to my door...weird

i haven't had any problems either until this last shipment. This problem use to be the first problem that dancegrooves had when they switched over to Rapid air for courier service. since then, they had changed to Fedex, i think someone at the airport must have sent some of the packages to FB Express by accident because they didn't know that Fedex is suppose to pick it up..

Well, i just got off the phone with Emiel @ Dancegrooves, he has contacted Vincent Ziel @ Rapid Air and are working on contacting FB Express to release whatever packages are stuck there right now. so if you have a package pending at the FB Warehouse, please contact Emiel at dancegrooves ASAP!...

Okay looks like things worked out for me my records got here yesterday, a little late but better late than never or being lost, fed ex delivered it. Maybe Rapid Airs website is messed cause as of sunday my records were still on the "Airplane", I'm gonna have to email dancegrooves and let them know to disregard the previous email I sent them. Darkevil yours might work out as well who knows. Good luck to all.
