if it's gonna be sold out, what difference does it make if its packed with 18 year olds or 21+ year olds? The place is gonna be packed either way!
And as far as whisles being annoying, they're only annoying in the hands of "american idol reject" ammateurs, which I don't think is the case here.
And for those that find this 18+ news really devastating, here's what you can do:
1. sell your ticket to and 18+ Hot Babe.
2. stay home
3. let GQ handle the underage girls crowding situation.
I use a whistle and Im 26, what does that tell you!!!

to those who are under 21,... we did our time,.. you do yours....
i know some of you who are under 18 and would love for you all to enjoy it with us, but personally i feel as if the club is really lowering its standards and it doesnt have that same big time type club feel to it,... it would have been packed to the celing with people regardless of the age thing so money making issues doesnt seem to be a factor,... piss poor decision on Space's part,... very disappointed 
my plane lands in miami at 1050pm that friday night and if i now cant get in b/c its full of 18 year olds who had to get there early b/c they have a 2am curfew i will definitely be pissed,... also when it is 21+ it makes it that much more special to turn 21 b/c you can then go to the famous Space that has always been known to be the superclub of florida which was known to be hard on ID's and such,... first they lowered their standards for dress code and then their level of checking for fake ID's and now the age thing?? whats next,.. start serving food there??
who misses the old space??? i dont think i am a big fan of this cavernous main room,... i liked the cozyness of the old main room with the low celings (remember that huge disco ball?) and the outdoor patio and didnt seperate the VIP as much like they do with this new Space,..

Everywhere.. England, Germany, Ibiza etc etc etc.. all other major clubs, better clubs are 18+ or even less.. only HERE in the US we see that 21+ BS, and well, its sad to see that all of you guys think the same way. IF you go to this Other clubs everywhere else in the world, even the better clubs then Space, 18+, you will have an even better time.. If I had the Money I would fly to Europe and assist kick ass clubs.. but I cant, this is the issue here in the US, by keeping the standards of 21+ and up, it will only make all this kids more inmature..
Oh please. You guys are completely overreacting. Space is going to be packed one way or the other for PVD. What honestly makes you think it's going to be more packed then it already would have been with the 18-20 yr olds? Seriously? It's going to be packed one way or the other, so how about all of you quit your bitching and realize that now there's an opportunity for more people to enjoy the music.

ok,.. in my post i did take some shots at under 21's and i do apologize for that, and those of you who are under 21 that ive met and who have replied there would be nothing more than for you all to enjoy it with us b/c i truly think the club is now better for you all to be there,.... but.... i was speaking in a general sense and not taking any shots at any individuals,... and dont feel offended, i was 18,19,20 once also (personally, id trade ages with you all in a second and never look back,.. there were more things i enjoyed doing then at that age that i cant do now than getting into 21+clubs)
PC- 3 day pass?.. i can only come to Miami for friday night and saturday night,... no can do,.. and im already spending $500 on a flight to miami and now i would have to spend more$$ on VIP just to assure i can get in??
Sara- you are very correct, the crowdedness is not the issue at all, but like i was saying to PC, the time frame of when people are going to be there is now very skewed,.. the under 21 crowd will generally get there earlier to assure they can get in,... so it will be filled at a much earlier time
Felipe- the 21 vs 18 thing here in the US has been a social standard since the mid 20th century with the alcohol limit at 21,.. the bigger clubs in the US to make them more of an elitist club emplemented the higher age standard so as if the people to see and be seen can feel more comfortable going to a club where much younger people wont "ruin their style",... that is definitely not the case now and i could no more want to go to a place that would have that stuck up of clientele,.. the first time i went to Space i was 21 and perfectly legal, but i dressed up so much and was so concerned that the bouncers would not allow me in just purely based on the fact that i didnt have the "look" to get in,... i couldnt be more happy that that now isnt the case,.. but the age thing was more of a ridgid standard unlike those "clientele" of people who used to attened thsee clubs and i feel as if the age req. was kept b/c it did keep it more grounded ---->(that last line is roughly what i mean, i dunno how to really put it)

The roxy crowd meets Space, should be interesting. Personally, I could care less if it's 18+. At first I thought it was just stupid, but the WMC is a perfect time to expose all the new clubbers to this type of sound. Would you rather all of them turn to hip-hop because unlike trance its easily acceptable. I do my own thing and always have so regardless of the age of other clubbers, I'm with my friends and no one else is going to ruin my fun or my buzz

there are specific pvd presale tickets available @ groovetickets.com as well... $35, get it while you can people and you will get in
