You earn alot less money when you belong to a cartel, as a part of your profit goes into the cartel itself. 
And because of this, I believe there's going to be an uprising in the Pablo Mendes-Vicario cartel....

Well that was an interesting morning .. made a few good attacks and climbed to $210,555,314 networth, #12 on the island. I was pretty underdefended, but I cop a few hits, suddenly all my thugs are gone.
Time to bend over and take it 
Now I'm back down to $60mill networth

Just gotta make good attacks and steal people's money 
spend some of the cartels money to buy some cartel thugs? cause we've only got 3 at the moment. and if you want to make some quick cash, but around 2-300 thugs up for sale on pbay. i got 140 mill from selling 300 thugs

if we want more thugs for the cartel then the cut would need to be raised for a bit because 16mil will only get just over 500 thugs
the new pbay system of bidding means instead of just adding increments, you can choose how much you wanna bid and some people are bidding insanely for thugs and other things
might go sell some thugs....
...or you can donate the thugs over to me
no i dont think ill do that mister attack me and lose
