Kefka's final form may've looked bigger and better than Sephiroth's final form but Sephiroth is definitely more powerful and much more imposing than Kefka...whenever Sephiroth is shown in the game and his theme comes on there's unbelievable suspense.
Kefka is a foolish character and whenever they show him it's a joke

well, in any case i can't wait till FFXII is released here in the states...supposedly it will be something like FFV and IX, with castles and dragons and whatnot...hopefully will be better than FFX and X-2.
btw, why the fuck would someone vote for FFXII in the poll if it's release even in Japan is not imminent!?

i have to go with 6, even tho it's on the primitive SNES/s.famicom i still love that storyline for its completeness. the ending was well worth the amt of hours put into it. 7 and 8, great story but the endings were duds. and why isn't final fantasy 11 in the poll? i'm playing that every night right now!!!
FF5's NeoExDeath... not much of a personality, but he looked cool, and was probably the hardest FF boss ever, even if you were cheap and kept on using the CoinToss attack. FF5 is the best FF, ever!
FF3 : handsdown, the best storyline for a FF ever
6 7 and 8 were all so good but i definitely have a special place for 8 in my heart cause of the love story

i can only say from the ones i've played/own 7, 8, X, X-2
from these X is easily the best. it has the best story imo, and the best graphics. the whole auron thing was overly cool, the characters were so well developed and with voices were even better.
7 just didnt do it for me, i got it after a few years and the hype didnt live up to the game. crappy graphics and a story i just couldnt get into.
as for X-2, its an enjoyable game, but not really a sequel.
I'm not going to vote since I'm not a seasoned Final Fantasy fanatic, but I have spent a worrying amount of time playing Final Fantasy X and X-2 this month and must say that they are both absolutely bloody fantastic games.

FInal Fantasy 11 looks so good. Let me know how it is when any of you PS2 user aquire it.
From the Final Fantasy games I have played I can say this...
FF1 wasn't too bad but the story was a bit boring and shitty.
FF8 in my opinion is the worst of the 'modern' FF games. Not bad by a long shot, but it doesn't really compare well to 7 and 9.
9 and 10 are very good.
FF7 is amazing. Easily my favourite out of the FF games I have played... Sephiroth is such a great character. I think I've played that game far too much.

i just got played it again (for the millionth time i think) over my spring break.. i finished the entire thing in about a week, and then finished EVERYTHING (gold chocobo, the 2 weapons, etc etc) after about 10-11 days.
that game is amazing, just love it
played 1 through 6, 8 & 10

Well, everyone seems to love FF7, true that game is AWESOME. I loved it so much myself, but it is NOT my favorite
I would have to say FFIX, I heard some nasty rumors about how much it sucks. But, I picked it up from a friend, and DIED. I LOVE that game, simply AMAZING.... Storyline, graphics, enviorment, oh jeez... and the FMV's!! So many FMV's.... I absolutely adore FF9 
X is really really good as well, I put 100+ hours in it and I still haven't beat the game 100%
I loved Final Fantasy VIII, so that gets my vote. VII is close behind though.

See, when you say FF3 do you mean SNES FF3 or The Famicom FF3
