I meant that all those figures regarding the Palestinian side (Palestinian casualties) are estimates and not exact or real.

For instnace:

Btselem lists only 2021 Palestinian civlians killed from 2002 till May 2003:
http://www.btselem.org/English/Stat..._Casualties.asp

while http://www.miftah.org/report.cfm for instance lists it at 2232+.

So hence I said, "getting a real civilian count for the Palestinian is almost near impossible". And it is so, all else is estimates and propoganda. We can say for certain more Palestinian civilians were killed and so forth, but since most militant Palestinians do not recognize themselves according the Geneva code with military uniform, we will never have a real count.

with Israeli casualties you have exact figures of how many Israelis have been killed, categorized to the soul as a civilian or soldier. I will let you guys try and figure out why that is...

You quote:

Ummmm...not quite...you seem to use the word "propaganda" far too loosely for comfort ...You see, propaganda is what, for instance, religious zealots, who believe that their God has a bigger dick than the next (no offense to any religees here), engage in...

However, labeling civilian estimates from two different sources that come within less than 10% from each other as propaganda is HARDLY valid...you can say the estimates vary slightly (but what estimates don't ), but the fact of the matter is, we have a pretty good ball-park figure as to the amount of civilain deaths incurred from the palestinian side...One would therefore preface his discussing of Palestinian civilian deaths as differing between sources, and quote the respective sources...that hardly makes them any less "real" and worthy of being labeled as "propaganda", especially since the discrepencey between sources is hardly large enough to merit your discarding of them.

these are just two sources...

but you obviously are new here and don't understand the weight that the word propoganda carries around here

.. its as light as a feather here

don't believe me do a search on the word "propaganda" and its wife, "bias" for the polit forum and see the results.. or just ask any of the vets

Oh I'm sorry, I'll make sure to take into account the looseness of terms used in this forum from now on, and objectify that usage as completely valid

www.palestinechronicle.com usually sites the number of Palestinian and Israeli deaths when mentioned. So does www.palestinemonitor.org
The Palestine Chronicle also reports on suicide bombings.

Today someone was saying that it's actually more disturbing and eye-opening to look at the injury statistics than the deaths. Tens of thousands of Palestinians have been injured since September 2000.

Stop the Wall. Let Arafat's killers murder more Israeli civilians.

Palestinian terrorists kill Israeli couple in their car in the northern Negev
By israelinsider staff February 28, 2004

An Israeli husband and wife were killed Friday night by shots fired at their car on the Lahav-Eshkolot road, inside the Green Line where there was no wall.

The victims were Eitan Kolkoi, 30, and his wife, Rima Novikom, 25. Their two-year-old daughter, Michelle, was not in the car at the time.

The shots were apparently fired by terrorists, who waited in ambush along the sides of the road. The driver lost control, and the car overturned. The terrorists then approached the car and made sure that the victims were dead by firing at point-blank range. More than 40 bullets were expended.

According to Israel Radio, it was unclear how much time had elapsed between the shooting and the discovery of the bodies. The civilian who first spotted the car originally reported that it had been a traffic accident. Police investigators, noting the baby seat in the back, originally thought that the couple's infant daughter had been kidnapped.

The gunmen escaped eastward, towards the Palestinian village of Ramadin in the West Bank.

Israeli security officials say the separation fence enclosing the northern West Bank drives Palestinian terrorists to the southern area where there is no barricade.

The Fatah's Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades claimed responsibility for the killings.

I don't understand why you guys have to be so evil on the wall. I mean, I know its a large daunting inanimate object, but doesn't it have feelings too?

Even if the 'big bad wall' didn't exist, who says this kid wouldn't have died at the 'big bad wall's good friend, the 'impassable roadblock'

I don't think the big bad wall deserves all the credit for this, its not like it crumbled itself onto the kid or threw a piece of its concrete onto a Palestinian. I mean all it did was just stand there... maybe it was just forzen from shock? I mean the poor little guy is only a few months old, wouldn't you be terrified at such an age especially when thousands of people would like no better but to see your death ?

Look all I'm saying is ease off the wall, try and look at things from its point of view. So its towering, full of concrete, electornic sensors, razors, and barbed wire, but doesn't it have heart as well?

I did. Probably along with many others. Why bother posting in the thread if you don't read everything?
