Sorry to be picking up on a small detail.. but don't mix MIKE with those, he's probably got twice more tracks produced in his lifetime than all the other guys together, and doesn't stick to one style. Look back in his discography how much innovative and timeless tracks are there (and don't look only to the push and plastic boy aliases, those are the usually shite ones).

As for this topic, it has been done more than all the hookers in the world. I got to a new conclusion, go listen to what you like and send the moaners to hell. Personally i get bored with most uplifting trance nowadays, and it doesn't sound innovative at all to me. But there's a fair share of non-uplifting trancers out there that are good. And if you like music that isn't innovative, what's the fucking problem? Once again, listen to what you like and screw the trends and politics. Also, people that bounce from a genre to other and back only because it's 'the cool thing now' are fucking retards.

hmm nice post here

I never thought about it like that. I believe this surely is a thing that has influence on "the genre fight" thingy. People seem to think they are cool if they say "i like progressive" (and not the unevolved trance).

Most people prefer uplifting trance when they first start listening to trance.........

Like Me

lol

actually, as stated in an interview, umek was rather disgusted at tiesto and blackhole recordings for releasing all those remixes of his track
