I would hardly call Apocalypse Now mickey mouse compared to Requiem for a Dream...
soundtrack? what soundtrack? its just one track playing over and over and over and over.... BTW this track has a great remix from paul oakenfold. Its called zoo york and its in his Bunkka album. I cant believe none of you has heard it...

I just saw the movie and must say it is weird but i think it has alot of meaning in it!!!it was a relly good movie!! not one of my faves but it was good!
someone who has seen both the regular version, and the unrated version, please tell me what the difference is? i want to buy the dvd but didnt know if its worth getting the unrated (directors cut) or not.

Requiem for a Dream is a fantastic movie! It is gripping, it brings across a powerful message, and the movie is extremely well put together on a technical level. Very few movies have touched me as deeply as this one did. Although the story is tragic and may ruin the rest of your day, it is more than worth at least one viewing.
I feel compelled to check out some of the director's other projects, such as "Pi". The man is clearly a genius at the art of film-making
I think it was a kick ass movie. A bit of a mind fuck...watched it early in the morning after coming in from the club....
