I remember going to a rave in cape town back in 2000, and orbital were playing, took a trip and heard them drop this bootleg.... I almost wet myself laughing

As for Halcyon, been loving it for about 4 years before I even discovered trance, one of the all time electronic greats

Fabulous tune, timeless. Think I actually bought it on cassette single back in the day and may have to dig it out again. If I remember there was a B-side called Sunday that was also mint.

I just can't believe how old it is now. Sort of makes me feel old too.

Best explanation I can give is no better than the one you could that Rank 1 - Airwave is trance. That is, it sounds like ambient techno.
