When I went to see Sasha and Danny Tenaglia, I saw a bunch of older couples in their early to mid 40s on the dance floor, it was awesome. They didn't look or seem out of place. It was refreshing to see young and old dancing their asses off.
If my woman is into house and techno I will definitely still go out every once in a blue moon in 15 years. Why not..
Great thread
I'm 37 and still love this music as much as when I started the site.... but it going to events these days is a completely different experience than in the late 90's. Things are much more pre-packaged and predictable now.... I miss the randomness of it all the most... when you went out and really had no idea what to expect. lol

One of the most widely documented consequences of the acid house explosion and ecstasy culture in the UK at the end of the '80s is how it tore down things like football hooliganism, racism, homophobia and so on. People getting high as a kite in a field or a club somewhere had a tangible influence on wider society. Because it's not like the thoughts, feelings and realisations you have whilst on drugs just evaporate when you come down. |

it all boils down to drugs.
It's all how you boil the drugs.
The drugs boil all of you.
Also 37 and still listening. You probably couldn't get me into a club if you put a gun on me, though. Never was one for crowds.
*Jostles colostamy bag and iv* I'm still at the club. I STILL AM. DO YOU REMEMBER DELERIUM?? It was good then. NOT AS MUCH NOW. DELERIUM. I hope to not ever die. I just bought a play station four and some cuts off LOST LANGUAGE. Hey. You guys remember randy katana???
