i wouldn't make generalized statements about people in the military being dumb fucks because for the most part they are basically kids. i don't excuse what the soldiers did to those prisoners; i think it is sick. however, we can't lose perspective. our soldiers demeaned, humiliated, and abused humans, but they chop off heads. there is something inherently fucked up with most of the militant muslim societies. so back to our soldiers, and letting your kid join the military. aside from this war, the military can be a very positive thing. some people graduate high school and aren't ready or can't afford college but who still have higher aspirations than your mcdonald's clerk. the military pays for their college, allows them to travel, and teaches them a trade/skill. the only cost is well, in a sense, your life...or at least how ever many years you want to give them. the military doesn't however really boil down to the members, it comes down to the leadership. if the military does something wrong you can bet it really comes down to a problem somewhere at the top.

i was tempted to look at the video. i dunno why, perhaps it's like not being able to look away from an accident. but, i knew it was of nothing i wanted or needed to see. it was all my stomach could handle just thinking about it.
this planet is fucked,,things are gonna get worse now...going into iraq was a fucking big mistake and the everyday normal person knew it....it beats the shit out of me that Blair and Bush didnt....these fucking muppets have fucked up yours and my lives up forever..

Did Blair not fuckin read what Winston Churchill said in 1924 "I hate Iraq I wish I never wasted time and money invading it" I guess most you people didn't know that the British did invade Iraq 80 years ago. Seems wierd that it happen again. Mr.Churchill got nothing out it. THe Bush Adminstration is really fucked. I mean they want something good out of Iraq but its just not gonna happen. Sure it was easy going into Iraq but leaving is gonna be a tough one.

I dont think its fair to categorize all Americans by the actions of some sick fucked up people.There is always going to be envy of the United States so when anything happends there it is blown up beyond belief.How many times has the United States stepped in to help other countries where injustices are occuring?How many times do other countries torture our prisoners and have it broadcasted on Al Jazeer Tv.I also recall people in the streets of Palestine celebrating after thousands of innocent people died on 911.I agree that those U.S. soldiers did some downright sick things and totally are a disgrace to this country but that isn't what this country stands for.You totally have a right to express your honest opinion but if you and your family don't feel comfortable with you living in this country I think that is going a bit too far.
You live and work in the United States at the moment.You are taking advantage of the country that has many freedoms so don't bite the hand that feeds you.
yeah i agree, the whole "i hate the USA and its military/what it stands for, but i happen to enjoy living here and reaping its benefits" thing gets a little old after a while. i think its time for a one way ticket back to Heathrow...
