no more talk of k.
jayx1, if you wanna see a photo of the police report, paypal $40 my way please, because that's how much they want for mailing it to me
you can always go pick it up!

Again if this were more than a simple car theft case like you say it is they would have been at your house 5 mins after you called them.
That's soo screwed up man!!
But to tell you the truth the new bouncers and the staff they have at the Docks are just plain wrong! So not professional at all. I was there saturday night and had a big issue with them, I'm tired of comming across bouncers that believe they have the say on everything like they own the establishment when it's the customers the ones that pay for them.
Hope everything turns out good man, best of luck!
Sigh, hope you get your car back dude. The whole situation is just fucked up! BTW, I love Vivid's stories, keep em coming!!!!

| Originally posted by d!abolic At about midnight last night, i was at the Docks Nightclub, walking towards the washroom with a drink in my hand. By the washroom stood a bouncer who pointed at the "NO DRINKS INSIDE THE WASHROOM" sign and asked me to leave mine on the little table like about a half-dozen others already have. When i came out of the washroom, my drink was gone but a nearly-identical one was sitting right beside where i left it. Assuming that someone accidently took mine instead of their own, i took it and drank it. This lead to an argument between me and the bouncer, who wanted me out of the club for "stealing" somebody's drink - apparently it didn't matter that they stole mine. So i walked out of the club and started walking towards the parking lot. Up until that point, my memory of last night's events is chrystal clear. I remember every moment, every face, every word. I'm Russian, so i have a fairly good tolerance for alcohol, and i only had a couple of drinks that night. But past that point, there is a big dark gap in my memory. I woke up on the wrong side of the bed, with my feet on the pillow. And yet my dress pants lay on the shelf, carefully folded along the crease. My watch, chain, license and debit card were laying on the table, but my money, car keys and of course, the car itself were gone. I have absolutely no idea what happened to me after leaving the club. Ever seen Memento? Yea, just like that. I called the cops and surely enough, the car wasn't towed. Nor is it in my garage or at the parking lot i left it at before going to the club. The lesson is: don't leave your drink unattended or drink someone else's drink because you never know WHAT you'll end up drinking! |
Whatever the heck happened to you is not good.

Now that I think about it, the sercuty guard must have been into it.
1. None of this would have happened if the guard didn't kick you out. You woulda just collapsed on teh floor probably and then been looked after. So you had to be outside.
2. Guards don't care if you steal someone's drink... most of them hate their job and don't care about the little things. And even if they did (which is unlikely) they'll probably heckle you and leave you alone, but to go through the trouble of dragging you out...
I think you should talk to one of the managers, and/or tell the police to launch an investigation, or such...

Sorry this whole story reeks of BS and whats funny is that everyone here is believing it based on his word.
I guess i now know how rumours do get started.
BTW i asked for a copy of the statement i gave a year ago when i witnessed an accident and picked it up for free.

I just got a call from speedy2k saying he found my car. Called the cops and they showed up two hours later. There was some minor damage on several sides and they tore out EVERYTHING, even the damn speakers. They even unbolted the spare tire, though left it in place. So i've got my car back, let's hope insurance pays for the damage and missing items.
