wow, I am speechless right now. The vox are soooo nice and dreamy.

Remember the remix doesn't have any vocals, it's an instrumental just like Eno's '83 original. Above & Beyond just added acapella on top of it in their Essential Mix.

Leama and moor did actually record some additional backing vocals for this remix - listen carefully and you can hear these! but I think you are talking about a spoken vocal that A&B played over the top :-)

Yep, i'm talking about the spoken vox. I can hear the sublime vocals (or parts of them of somekind) here and there but i wouldn't really call them actual vocals as they aren't that obvious IMO, sound more like echoed and vocodered FX.

Brian Eno is a brilliant conceptualist and I'm thrilled to hear what Leama & Moor have done... I'm curious how Brian feels about the remix?

Brian Eno: "Oh, how... cute."

not feeling it
pretty boring imo
not a bad tune, but leama & moor can do way better than this :/

VOX not vocals

vox = the choir-y pads

Oo. Didn't know that. "Vox" is just used on many track's mix titles instead of "Vocal" so i thought you meant vocals. Sorry.

I don't think vox means what Matt said it does, anyway. Vox is just an abbreviation, as far as I know.

Obviously this is gonna win track of the year

But i'd like to know how long it is? I've heard it in a couple of sets and it seems like its about 5 mins... is this correct? It just seems like this song should be longer, that it deserves to be longer? Any news on the Oak mix?

10/10

it's over 10 mins! i have the vinyl most dj's seem to fade it out after the first 5 minutes...i think this gem should be played all out!

Given the trance gold mine that An Ending provides, this really doesn't deserve the praise it's getting. Eno's original is the heart of the thing.

Yeah its a nice song but i think everyone is overhyping it a bit.

Three months later and I'm still playing it, just sheer genius!!

definitely up there, top 5 or 3 maybe, but can it really beat Motherload?

One of my Top5 tracks of the year.

Posted by memusa on Sep-26-2004 21:21:

Great track...a track that could easily be in a chillout collection...It's very melancholic and touching...Very few tracks can achieve that imo...

Posted by varun on Sep-27-2004 00:04:

Very chilled track.
I put this before I sleep.
