extra points if your boat can survive a monster attack!

Posted by Coup on Jul-27-2004 21:50:

you'll get 30,000 from the sun if u can sneek crushed polo's in ur boat into GKGG and then u can sell ur story as "what if this was anthrax? how secure are our public parties?" and then another 30k when trev gets johnathan matelin to investigate and scare us all into staying in and watching corrie every nignt.

so painting a pic of a submarine on a rock won't be a viable entry then?

nope, the rules clearly state that if a submarine is built, it still must float, but underwater.. i.e. no contact with the bottom

a submarine would be a challenge to build!

Having pondered for a while at work today, I am still unsure of what type of boat I am going to construct. But avast! When complete it shall sale the seven seas I tell thee.

Posted by Cru54d3r on Jul-29-2004 15:49:

perhaps i can make something of a wooden construction seeing as theres so much spare wood from the decking construction outside ..

Posted by tu_face on Jul-30-2004 08:55:

wood burns.. muahahaha

please do not take this out of context, that was simply a statement..

Posted by Coup on Jul-31-2004 11:52:

it was a poor show .. perhaps the prospect of bringing in a boat that might sink had dampened our boat building spirits (har har!)

jeff (tu_face) the clear winner .. and he wins himself a lifetime supply of muggets no doubt ..

Posted by Ste on Aug-01-2004 13:06:

...and a free liftime pass for muggetworld(TM)

shame about the boatless situation, i had one ready for ages.

Posted by Spin Doctor on Aug-01-2004 14:26:

In agreement with coup - as I couldnt attend the model boat regatta, I too wish to see photographic evidence of these boats!

Posted by George Kendall on Aug-01-2004 21:44:

my efforts were awarded 2nd place.

as my prize quite clearly states.. (a small pin badge)...

I GOT BOAT SERVED

I had plans to make a boat out of a spam tin. Even went as far as getting the tin of spam! But then realised on the morning of GKGG that i'd forgotten, and there wasn't enough time to make one. Gutted, as I think my boat out of a spam tin would have been in good competition with Jeff's! Gah...

Now if it was a boat made from a spam tin and a potato, that would have been a true champion...
