Absolute crap

Oakenfold re edits in pro tools to fit as many tunes on as possible it should read, cause thats what he has done, basiclly like every other CD on the market thats mixed digitally.

Im quite chuffed wadi finaly got a bit of recognition though

Posted by ++ EGO ++ on Aug-11-2004 15:30:

Dude what are you babbling about?
Go check some ID&T Compilations (ID&T Trance for example) then you know what's cramped.
I dont call 11 and 12 tracks on a CD many tunes.

Posted by rainbow_marble on Aug-11-2004 19:16:

absolutely amazing mix cd. one of the finest.

Posted by Fishstx on Aug-11-2004 20:49:

These tunes are DEFINATELY NOT crammed on the CD. Almost every song goes into the out-tro (sp?) before the next track is coming in.

Very good mix cd from what I've heard so far (still got half of the 2nd CD to listen to). I'm very pleased and it's a nice change of pace from all the other sets I've been downloading out there.

Definately worth picking up.

Only cost me 11.99$ at Media Play if any of you guys have those around (might be Sam Goody in your area?)

Anyway, I just ordered the CD. Can't wait to have a listen

This is a nice one!

Posted by osuracnaes on Aug-12-2004 17:09:

Wow... some great tracks.

I am a fan of the older Beautiful Day remix, though... but this one isn't bad.

I recommend it!

Posted by montana on Aug-14-2004 19:48:

gah, why oh why must the perfecto mix of beautiful day "suck" so hard on the cd, this is just a case of liveset rip being better than cdrip but still wtf

Posted by stnthmn on Aug-15-2004 01:30:

I finally had a chance to play this CD in my car today. I love disc one. This is one of the few albums I can play straight through. I love every track. I haven't played the disc 2 yet. Vrey good album so far. I'm going to play disc 2 tonight.

Posted by AussieTrance on Aug-15-2004 12:12:

Cd1 is fantastic, easily listen from start to finish.. but cd2, not so sure about. Starts out well, but I kinda lose interest when the remix of beautiful day gets going.

Posted by CGRumler on Aug-15-2004 16:41:

Sounds like this can be pretty good. I'm gonna go buy it at Best Buy with my employee discount.

Posted by fathomless1 on Aug-15-2004 17:01:

Just picked this up today... real good so far. It cost me $20.99 at media play where I live, but well worth it. Everyone should check this out.

Oakenfold is back.

Period.

Posted by speedracer_mec on Aug-17-2004 01:31:

Finally picked it up today.

Good Cd.

I miss his classical pieces he used in his mixes though.

8.9/10

Better than Great Wall IMO.

I really loved him playing Scatterbomb again.
That tune reminds me of Cuba's essential mix...

If I see it at TowerReocrds it mine

Think it's maybe a concept tracklisting (all mix albums have an idea of the tracks which will be included before the cd is put together and mixed - due to licencing reasons). When it finally comes to mixing maybe they find a better track sequence or last minute tracks are included. Another promo tracklist i saw was :

Promo Disc 1

U2 - Beautiful Day (Perfecto 2004 Mix)
Oakenfold - Time Of Life (Shane 54' Rolling On Ultra Remix)
Mauro Picotto Lizard (Oakenfolds 2004 Re-edit)
John 00 Fleming - Im Not Fooled (JF Sebastian dub)
Carlos Vives - Comu Tu (Perfecto remix)
Stel & Good Newz Particle
Tilt - World Doesnt Know
Tilt 12
Interstate - I Found You
Duran & Aytek First Sight
D:Fuse Living The Dream
Suzy Solar Ocean Of Love
Armin Blue Fear 2004

Promo Disc 2

4 Strings Turn It Around
Markus Schulz - Clear Blue
Peter Martin Perfect Wave
Space Manoeuvers Part 3
Li Kwan - Point Zero
Ben Lost Jump The Night Train
Pinkbox Nice Guys Finish Last
NuBreed One Day
I.B. Mirage
Girl Nobody Cages (Lemon 8 Remix)
Auranaut People Want To Be Needed
Sneaker Scatterbomb

which is pretty similar to the one at amazon (but in a different sequence).
